The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Styx CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Styx are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Well, it sounds exactly like you'd think it would: the faux Styx singing a bunch of classic, mostly familiar, tracks... This is for Styx fanatics only, they don't really DO anything with the material. I do kinda dig "I Can See For Miles", but this'll probably just be put on the shelf and not listened to again.

Together with Legs Diamond, my all-time fave act, but this is so disappointing. Not one single sing beats the original ! So, what's the point ? ! No, I'm waiting for a decent new Styx release. And that they miss Dennis is proven here !

I think to be honest that losing Dennis is the best thing that Styx could have hoped for...anyone who has seen his recent DVD will probably agree...his act is second class broadway now. Some like this record, some hate it...but personally, not knowing many of the tracks think that taken for what it is it is really good. Wishing Well, Dont Need No Doctor and Cant find my way home are particularly satisfying. Oh, and the live show is brilliant!

Losing Dennis DeYoung is a good thing? Hardly not. Styx has become a second rate act among many other 70's & 80's bands due to the ravages of time & inner turmoil. Not to say they still don't rock because of JY & Tommy Shaw but they are hardly the high & mighty without DeYoung. This cd is par for the course now that DeYoung is probably gone forever. Styx has been reduced to a cover tune band. I've seen shows with DeYoung & with this other guy...what's his name? There is no comparison.

Have we lost the Styx forever?
