Zed Yago, daughter of The Flying Dutchman, is doomed to sail the seas of her shadowy realm of nothingness. She invites God and the Devil into her world, but good and evil cannot coexist in this empty dimension. Only Zed Yago can save them. A bargain is struck. In exchange for human form, her boat becomes the ferry that connects Heaven and Hell. Now a black-eyed, raven-haired beauty,Zed yago sails out in search of love and beauty that matches her own. Continued on next comment, look down. |

As her anchor hits earthly shores, a mighty roar arises from the deepest recesses of the seas. For with Zed Yago's first mortal kiss, fantasy metal is born...------------ One of the best German rock bands of all time. |

HAHAHA...I can almost hear the pompous narration as I read...Very good band in deed! |

A little theater rock ain't no shame. Zed Yago is a classic Goth-Metal band from my day. A most excellent representation for the aging headbangers of the late 80's - early 90's. The lead singer's voice has exceptional range. Zed Yago is most definitely one of the stars of my collection. Great news for 2004 a new album, I, for one, am most excited by this development. |

I saw them live when I was a scruff of a teenager primarily because my old man was VP of A&R for BMG at the time so I got free tickets for alot of roster acts. Good album, actually I've got to buy the 2nd album, old man's retired so no more freebies ! Have to say that for German melodic metal I prefer Bonfire's "Fireworks" - surely a candidate for Top 5 album in all categories for the late 80's. Superb digital production for it's time. |

Saw them live in the 80's too dear mutley and wasn't a great deal(at least 4 me). There are so many german bands that to take notice of this one woulb be quite a pain.Anyway decent metal but not for the masses shamely... |

Probably this is the band's best effort up to now...solid metal songs ala germania ..."Pioneer Of The Storm","Black Bone Song","Rose Of Martyrdome","Achilles Heel","Omega Child" and the AORish "Fallen Angel" are my faves...85/100 |
