Love this cd. there are a couple of spots where an extra layer of guitar would have been nice but over all it rocks. Really stands up to the first cd. Still Burning kinda let's Mtv know they lost their soul when they took metal off. "If" is a Beautiful song and would have been a big hit in the 80's. "Over, Said n Done" sounds like a Danger Danger song from their last two cd's. And as Always Jamie Rowe's voice is top notch. A 9.5 for sure

This gets good reviews, but I can't really see why ! This is an average record, not bad, but far from good too !! What more can I say ? We have heard this kind of music 1000 times before and often better. This arena-rock has nothing special to offer. Check this out by yourself, but for me it's really nothing special at all !! There are many better CD's out at the moment (Mecca, Harlan Cage, 101 South, Arrival, Lana Lane, Hughes/Turner, re-issues from Dakota, Speedway BLVD etc.) Go for these !

Great cd! One of the best to come out in years! Jamie Rowe has got to be one of the best singers in rock today. On a scale of 1-10 i would give it a 9 3/4.

This has to be one of the best releases this year along side Jaded Heart and Giant. Jamie Rowe has never sounded better.

The production on this album is almost as good as Jaded Heart's VI album. Sensational production guys!!

Granted, the music that Adrian Gale gives us on this cd is quite simplistic. But there's just something about the sound of this cd...it just plain kicks ass! I wasn't impressed at first either, but we all need cds like this one in our collections'. Nothing fancy or pretty or overly complex, just good old fashioned heavy metal/hard rock the way it used to be! I was made a believer!

Keep an eye out for a Live AdrianGale album in the near future. It should really rock. Jamie's voice is just amazing and fits the music perfect. Wish they were more well known. So many people are missing out on great music.

A good strong melodic rock album that will no doubt feature on many Best Of 2002 lists at the end of the year. And deservedly so, as the band and the label have nailed the formula for what a great melodic rock release needs. The only downside is a small lack of urgency in the delivery of the songs. The formula and sounds are perfect, but a little more attitude on a few tracks and an extra layer of guitar would have added ever more to the end result. Still one of the year's better 'classic' melod

I agree with all the positive comments above what a great album. These guys keep getting better and better. I am looking forward to their next release. buy the Album you won't be sorry. Kevil Records is really one fantastic label. While I don't like every band on the label anyone they sign is worth a listen.

The direction I WISH Guardian would have continued in, rather than releasing those gawd-aweful modern rock CDs! Jamie's vocal work so well with this style. Adrian Gale might not be Guardian, but they are possibly the next best thing.

So far......this is my favorite AdrianGale album. LOVE them all, but there is just something special about this one. Maybe because I feel like it touches on ALL of my emotions. And Jamie's voice....*sighhh*!! 41394 and Part of Me just make me melt. Heartbreak Guaranteed is my favorite track (at the moment!!) The whispers did me in!!

Overall I like this alot. I agree with the comments above about the need for another layer of guitar in places. And sometimes the tempo just plods along for a bit. But again, overall this is a great sound. I like the vocals alot. Kind of a mix between Joe Elliot, Jesus Espin (91 Suite) and Mark Evans (Heaven's Edge). I have not heard anything from the previous releases. Can anyone tell me how they differ from this one?

FEEL THE FIRE is pratically the same album....there's no so much different...the sound and the production is the same...even a song has pratically the same start.if you gave 9/10 to RE-PROGAMMED you will give 9/10 to FEEL THE FIRE

This album is a blueprint of essentials in the melodic genre - plenty of crunchy guitars, powerful vocals, good sing-a-long choruses and memorable hooks. For anyone who enjoyed the debut, or owns Harem Scarem records and also loved Danger Danger's last couple of records, this album promises to delight.

GREAT melodic hard rock here!Jamie Rowe's vocals are excellent. I pretty much enjoy all of the songs here, but "Heartbreak Guaranteed","Heartgames", and the VERY Def Leppardesque "If" are my faves. I will indeed be looking into picking up their previous releases now! Recommended for anyone who loves good, 80s style hard rock!

I agree with you erik!I must say i find this guys comments interesting. He posted the same thing on each of the AG albums. Sounds like maybe its a jealous musician from another band that doesnt get the attention AG gets.Is AG ground breaking? NO.Are they a fun rock band that is just as good as the bands we loved back in the day?YES!I honestly think if AG had come out in 89-91.They would be just as popular as bands like WARRANT,CINDERELLA and SKID ROW.I could hve easily seen them in arenas

I actually prefer this one to the debut - has a few more melodic kilers. Such as 'Heartbreak Guarranteed', 'Over said and done' and 'Heather please', which are all highlights of this disc. 'Part of me' is my fave song of the first 2 discs and is beautiful mid-tempo melodic hard rock, and 'If' is a great ballad too. Overall, another good solid hard rocking CD.

Better late than never I always say. Just picked this up and it did not fail to deliver. Nice production, good hook-laden songwriting and fine playing this will be a welcome addition to anybody's collection... except maybe Freaky/Freddy's...

This band just keeps getting better and better with each release. Top notch melodic rock with excellent production. Jamie Rowe and Vic Rivera are a lethal combination of sound. "Closer", "Over Said N Done", and "Part Of Me" are some of the best songs I've ever heard. The intro guitar could have been on "Hysteria" by Def Leppard easily. This is a fantasic album and I recomend it very highly!!!

Hmmm...just some more trivia on Mr.Rowe, his original band was the Christian band Tempest, he's come a long way since that. This is the best effort to date in my opinion. Solid guitarwork and Rowe's vocals kick. I was a Guardian fan and this pleasantly suprised me , more ala the Miricale Mile type album from Guardian. 8.5/10

It's too bad his earlier band, Guardian, changed styles after their first 3 releases. They were (are) all great. Here is some quality melodic hard/rock with style. He does have a great singing style. The only one I own, as of now, but I will be looking for some others.

If I was exiled to a desert island and could only bring 10 CDs with me, this one would ... well, actually, this one would get left behind. But that doesn't mean it's not a damn cool album. "Still Burning" kicks off the party with a red-hot rocker and "If" delivers the power ballad goods. Not every track is a keeper, but there's more gloss than dross. Bottom line, if you call yourself a melodic hard rock fan and this album isn't in your collection, you need to get with the program.

@metalmaniac777 haven't you been on a 6-7 year HH comment dry spell? Last word on the boards was that you and GEOFF sailed off into the HH sunset and started a CHER fan site (wink). Welcome back to the fold, as it seems most of the old regulars have dropped like flies.

excellent release once again for ADRIAN GALE with a fine commercial hard rock approach and many great songs like "if","part of me " ,"closer" and "over said n done"!the HAREM SCAREM influence is strong but still they manage to make their own mostly cause of Jamie s vocal work!good stuff
