The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Blue Oyster Cult CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Blue Oyster Cult are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

"I Love the Night" is the best BOC song ever. Makes you wonder if you yourself are indeed a vampire! |

Yet another (third) greatest hits compilation without "Dominance and Submission". Go figure. |

A Box Set... or a BOC set- get it? is the only compilation that makes sense now. Enough with these piddly-ass single disc sets. |
From: Rockhead | Date: March 26, 2004 at 14:45 |
Couldn't agree more with Koogles on this one. There must be hundreds of unused and/or demo tracks lying around. 5 discs should do the trick |
From: Gar | Date: March 26, 2004 at 18:03 |
Yeah... but as a single disc for the casual fans, you gotta admit this one does the trick. Good sampling of all their albums up to 1983. |
From: Gar | Date: March 26, 2004 at 18:05 |
But it would have been cool if they put "Hot Rails to Hell" on this instead of "The Red & the Black". Just my opinion, I'm sure. |

Best of AGAIN?! Go back to the drawing room and feed the hungry fans! |
From: Fat Freddy | Date: October 12, 2006 at 12:58 |
Sheesh...I've only recently begun investigating Blue Oyster Cult's catalog and thought a compilation would be a good place to start. Now, after scanning the track listing to this baby I wish I had held out for this disc instead of buying the cheap-ass "Super Hits" compilation...live and learn... |

Compilation albums are always left undone & so is the case here but admittedly this one sums it up about as much as possible on a single disc. However, there is room for one more classic like "The Revenge of Vera Gemini" or take your pick, lol. Also, it covers every studio album but "Club Ninja" & "Imaginos". Lastly, seems each song has been given the digital remaster treatment & sounds as crisp as possible. Crank this one up from beginning to end! |
