Excellent disc from the former front man of Yngwie Malmsteen's band circa 1989-1992. Goran Edman is one of the greatest voices in rock today but very underrated because he is from overseas. This is very guitar driven metal with a commercial taste. Highly recommended for fans of melodic metal in the vein of Malmsteen inspired virtuoso rock!!

From: Dragonfly Date: December 16, 2001 at 19:53
I agree with Chris from above. This release from Jonas Reingold who is not only a song writing ace but also a top notch bass player is by far a masterpiece. Goran at the vocals makes it a outstanding melodic hard rock release. A must have if you like Jonas's work from Midnight Sun or his work with Pete Sandberg.

I can't say enough about this disc and could certainly gush about Goran all day. The gentle "No More I Love You" the shredfest of "Killer on the Loose", and the majestic "Northern Light". A wide variety of songs that gel perfectly. To those that rated it poorly all across the web: YOU ARE IDIOTS!

From: Rycheage Date: February 2, 2003 at 19:15
Excellent hard rock on this CD. Standout tracks are: "No More I Love You" "Northern Light" and "Killer on The Loose". This is an awesome CD.

I'd have to say no thanks to this disc, but seems to get a pretty good wording before I came along so maybe I'm just wrong. I guess it's okay and if you like the heavier and less melodic side of Midnight Sun you will dig it... but for me it was just a decent heavy rock / metal CD.

A good album....clearly above average. Great musicians, some excellent songs and the voice of Goran makes it a quality release. "Northern Light" is the heavy weight song on the disc, what a masterpiece!

Maybe not essential but for a very cheap price this could be a decent one...G.Edman here is not so bad sometimes!

From: YNGWIEVIKING Date: September 10, 2007 at 5:01
GREAT CD essential for the SCANDI MELODIC METAL lovers ! /°)) There is EVEN some neo-classical influences which is always good Sorry z4roxx but concerning studio works : GORAN EDMAN is ALWAYS GREAT !!! JONAS REINGOLD is an absolute killer musician/produced/composer YOU can check his work on several CD:KARMAKANIC/MIDNIGHT SUN/REPTILIAN/OPUS ATLANTICA/FLOWERS KINGS/DOWNTOWN CLOWNS/THE TANGENT ETC.. 89/100 GO FOR IT !!!!

Very interesting Melodic Metal/edgy Hard Rock album...Goran Edman doing a great job as usual and Jonas Reingold...such a bass player!!!...best shots for me are the intro "Universe Part 1" with that bloody bass line courtesy of Jonas,"Glorified"(superb and epic!),"Eye For An Eye","No More I Love You"(nice ballad),"Killer On The Loose"(a song with a Hard AOR feel) & "Sacrifice And Suffering"...enjoyable release...84/100
