I have seen them live in Milano as supporter of Dave Lee Roth. They kicked ass!!!

From: Barthezz Date: November 7, 2001 at 13:12
This is an awesome debut-album. I would love to have seen these guys play live. They make the most beautiful ballads ever! On this album, my fave's are FEATHER IN THE WIND, HERO and SOMEWHERE.

From: Mike Date: March 25, 2002 at 13:26
My God! At last! I found this band. I saw them live on tv show in 1989 or 1990 with their Love Or Loneliness. The guitarist played while he was sitting on singer's shoulders. Cool

fantastic album!Also their second "escapade"!

From: nitrodoll Date: August 22, 2002 at 3:21
sing a long rock !!!!, their second release sounded far more mature and better thus... but you can't beat the enthusiasm that this dutch band had on their first effort that made em open for david lee roth around 1988. nice nitrodoll1974@hotmail.com

This is one of the WORST CDS I,ve ever heard and Joss Mennen have one of these voices that I completly hate. When I bought the LP I got a double awful surprise: Robby didn´t played yet and the album was a SHIT!!!!!.Their second effort was a very good and strong effort.I cannot understand the wide difference from one CD to other.2/10 being generous, I cannot give more for this piece of shit. A decent album that sounds like a band in their infancy. Not particularly outstanding pop metal that needed some better songs and a better production. O.K. 6/10

Heads up for all Zinatra/Mennen fans! Both Zinatra releases are scheduled to be re-released in March 2004 as a box-set with lots of added extras alongside a brand new disc from Mennen!

this is one of the prime examples in european aor;songs full of hooks and catchy choruses+good hard rocking guitars is what you get here.both albums are absolute musts if youre into bands like treat;da vinci;dalton....etc.if you enjoy the zinatra albums then go and check out robbie valentine's releases as they sound very similar to this but imho they are much better!!.one definetely worth looking for.

I hate to say it, but I actually thought this album was a burning pile of sh*t and has no real worth at all as a musical offering. Decent hard rock at best I'd dare to label it, but nothing more... IMO.

Any band that calls them self ZINATRA and steals the legendary Frank SInatra's name by replacing the "S" with a "Z" is a sorry band.

From: MelodicMan Date: October 9, 2004 at 16:29
Thx DR DOM for your great explanation about their name. I'm sure you're the first one to notice that...

From: MelodicMan Date: October 10, 2004 at 14:16

From: ArnoldLancelot Date: March 12, 2005 at 0:24
They're often compare with dalton, treat and da vinci... Shurely they have a sound alike and I recomend then for everyone who wants to expand the scandi-aor side of a collection, but my dear fellows Treat stands up WAY miles away from them, for one thing: Class. Altough both re-issues are worth the money; for a good mastering, packing, and of course bonus tracks!

Pooooor, weak, bad stuff!

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: September 29, 2007 at 13:53

From: shark attack Date: September 30, 2007 at 5:53
Keyboard dominated aor with some nice ballads with those big hook laden choruses you can`t help but sing along with. Contains a couple of clunkers which are too pop orientated for my tastes and the guitars could and should have been pushed further forward to give it some balls but overall a pleasant if slightly bland release. 60/100

From: KurtmanJP Date: October 12, 2008 at 22:47
"Name Of the Game" is pure killer AOR rocker, by far my favorite song on this album. "Feather In the Wind" is a stunning ballad, way better than the other bland ballad "Somewhere". "Looking For Love" and "Love Or Loneliness" are also great but this album also has a couple fillers like "Rock And Roll Hangover". I still think tracks 5 and 10 are as good as any standout track on "The Great Escape". Best described as a mix of Van Halen and Cheap Trick to AOR newbies who only listen to top 10 stuff.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: March 28, 2011 at 21:17
Decent debut effort not as consistent as their following up "The Great Escape" but still delivers good songs such as "Lookin' For Love"(far their best song ever),"Hard To Explain","Somewhere"(nice ballad)& "Heat Of The Moment"...the re-edition of this album brings 7 bonus tracks being "Gone With The Wind"(a good rocky song),"Gone With The Wind"(live version) & "Moving On Sound" the best ones...93/100

From: AORSoundtracks Date: August 11, 2012 at 21:25
"Moving On Sound" is a killer bonus track. Pure 80s AOR !!!

From: 123charpenay Date: February 23, 2022 at 18:14
three or four great songs......but the rest is very very average.absoluty not at the same level than the excellent "the great escape".
