Bormann at 53 still has a unique voice. He had the looks (persona) and talent to make it big, but talent doesn't always translate to album sales. I have a bootleg CD of his early work (1987) T.A.X.(High Voltage) which shows promise of things to come. Jaded Heart's first album in (1994) was 3 years late to the tail end of the hair band party in the states. Losing crucial time from the 80's to to 94' with Jaded heart's debut as the major label clock was ticking. My personal favorite release is his collaboration with ex-Bonfire Angel Schleifer "Charade". Well enough of his bio as Mike ain't dead yet. Bormann goes the Jack Russel's Great White route with this release claiming the fans demand blasts from the past in his live shows. After (2004) "Trust" he got the boot from JH. This release sounds more like a extension of Bormann's AOR/MR friendly solo work, just ho hum, by the numbers to me. I was expecting more of a return to form if he's going to slap the Jaded Heart logo back on.

an other excellent job from michael bormann.he have always his exceptional voice.what pleasure.with his new project ,jaded hard, michael play a class melodic varied hard rock.track 7 for example could easely be present on a whitesnake record.ok track 5 and 11 are a little average, not at my taste.but the others songs are very catchy.for make short ,i can say that jaded hard play a smart and delicious hard rock.
