This release made me listen to melodic rock. Its a fantastic release and I recommend it to everyone. The guitars are superb............Ehhhh Jasn its too clean to you, you might want to listen to some grungy stuff instead.

Caught it from a friend who, Caught it from a friend who, Caught it from another, you been sleepin' around.

From: Kim Date: July 16, 2002 at 14:28
............So you know the lyrics.LOL. Youre right the lyrics sucks on this one. Still I saw them live in Germany many years ago, and they kicked seriously BUTT. It would have been funny if it had been like this. Caught it from a friend who, Caught it from a friend who, Caught it from another, and now we all have the same fuckin`disease.

From: mats Date: July 18, 2002 at 0:38
Jason, I can't believe you would even comment on this trash!!

I just listened to my REO cd`s. I have to admit. They suck. I must have had major hangovers the day I made the above mentioned comments on how good REO are/were.

From: mats Date: July 18, 2002 at 20:55
good job Kim, it's nice to see someone with intellengence

From: Axelinger Date: November 18, 2002 at 15:46
"She doesn't like the tough guys. She doesn't like the rough guys. So find someone your own size." What does that nugget of stupidity mean? Should rough, tough guys only chase after women 6'3", 215 lbs., who look like linebackers? One of THE most utterly idiotic lyrics ever penned by anyone... Ranks right up there with Dean Martin crooning, "When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie... that's amore."... Dum de de dum dum -- DUMB DUMB!!!

From: Xabofar Date: May 29, 2003 at 19:59
Bueno chicos, los de arriba se lo pierden. Para mí este disco es una de las piedras angulares de los primeros años del aor. Hasta la canción nº 6, este disco roza la perfección. Vosotros mismos

From: freddy de keyze Date: May 29, 2003 at 22:19
Been a big success, but besides the two first songs, which are really good, the rest is very average. And to be honest, this is not a great band, by no means. Not one of their albums is really top stuff.

From: shut up! Date: September 3, 2003 at 16:06
yeah u're right freddy...i always thought that too...i prefer your band...u guys really kick asses!why can't we find your cd in here?that's weird...it's a masterwork.ahahaha

From: BYRDMAN69 Date: October 6, 2003 at 9:49
Okay,okay......so every song on here isnt good. That doesnt mean its all bad. There are a few good tunes on this disc..tracks 1,2,and 5 are pretty decent songs for that era.

From: Phil Date: October 6, 2003 at 18:07
Highly over-rated album. It was REO's best seller, but big whoop. The sound track to Dirty Dancing has sold more copies.

From: mig25 Date: December 12, 2003 at 15:31
miren esto es uno buena ,muy buen albuen y mas esa cancion que dice Keep On Loving You , que esta es una muy buen tema y que ademas tiene un sonido que lo hace distinto y autentico al AOR.

From: Katherine Date: April 10, 2004 at 0:29
Ahh come on, who doesn't break out in song while they're beboppin down the road listening to the classic rock station and "take it on the run" comes on. Hehe

From: Rockhead Date: April 26, 2004 at 7:38
The last grea REO Cd and IMO a classic. Yeah it features THAT song but there is sooo much more. Tough Guys, Dont Let Him Go and Follow My Heart are all excellent hard rock tunes with some inspired guitar licks. The rest is uniformly high with a solid production and a very catchy set of songs that once heard, spin around your head for ages.

From: Curt Date: May 12, 2004 at 3:57
Is the girl applying the lipstick on the album cover African American. If she is this is pretty Risque for 1980 Chicago. I can't tell if she is or not and I imagine this obscurity was intentional. Nevertheless, they aren't Mozart, but the tunes are catchy. If you really think about it rock is more of a literary art than a musical one.

From: AORmaniac Date: June 29, 2004 at 23:30
This album is the best release of REO Speedwagon... An excellent melodic rock album with great tunes and killer hooklines!!!! All AOR fans must have this album!!! A Classic one!!!!

From: CheeseStooge24 Date: August 24, 2004 at 0:45
Sucked eggs totally! From start to finish. I wouldn't give this album to an enemy. This is a textbook example of "SELLOUT!" Same thing happened to Van Halen, a great rockin band decides to become top forty, and become just more radio fodder.I hated this album and it will always be the sellout of all sellouts to me. A major, major dissappointment. To me, this was the evil, gay REO twin that lived in the attic.I lost absolutely all interst in REO when this came out.

From: kan from taiwan Date: October 7, 2004 at 23:56
after 20 years i listen to this cd still make me feel good! "take it on the run" is my unforgotten ballad! some people say REO become a pop rock band! BUT I THINK IT'S OK! HOPE TO SEE THEM SOON!

From: Jerry Date: November 9, 2004 at 11:18
PARA MI EL MEJOR ALBUM DE REO, TIENE AUTENTICOS CLASICOS.

From: Propane Date: December 3, 2004 at 9:57
This was another great one, besides leaning too much toward the side of commercialism. Richrath throws some very tasty stuff into Don't let him go.

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: June 30, 2007 at 20:42
A REAL CLASSIC!!

From: juan carlos Date: July 4, 2007 at 0:12

From: edwithmj Date: July 16, 2010 at 20:59
Very melodic stuff and easy to listen to. I recommend this to all fans of Journey and Boston.

ok release by REO SPEEDWAGON containing the 2 mega hits "keep on loving you" and "take it on the run" that gave them the success they were seeking!overall a nice selection of mid tempo semi acoustic songs with just a few rockers around!good stuff

From: bmoviecritic Date: August 5, 2019 at 2:42
4 great tracks that are played daily on radio still, the other songs are of high quality as well. Gary sounds so good here, he has developed this tone on guitar no one else comes close to. This album would turn the band into a touring machine and Gary into a boozer he barely recovered from.
