If you like REO then you'll like this. It's an improvement on BtB but don't expect the heady intoxication of Hi-Infidelity. I'm finding it hard to put my finger on why I like this as there are no tracks that really jump out as brilliant, but overall it just feels good. Unlike many REO Speedwagon releases it doesn't peter out consistency wise at the end but keeps the level of enjoyment up throughout. Not an essential purchase but one I don't think you'd be disappointed in if you know your REO.

agreed with Nick, not any real standouts, but,. a really good album, a few tunes lose me, but at least 75 per cent of the album is very strong, for REO fans only, do not think new fans will be made with this, but I enjoy it

This album rocks and you know why?...because this ain't an Aor album, this is a "back-to-their-70's,sound album!.It makes it appealing to the fans of that stage (70's) and of course is a debt that they have to pay to their fans.It doesn't mean that i don't respect and like their commercial time but as things change maybe they realized that an album with an "honest" sound would be ideal 4 the listeners or fans of the band.Check the songs 4 yourself and say a word!.80/100

I really like this cd and it's a shame that more REO fans didn't listen t it....As a result, Kevin Cronin just said to Classic Rock Mag that since no one really paid any attention to this cd, he seriously doubts there will ever be another REO studio album of new and original material....Looks like this will be the last one they ever put out.....Had this album been released in the late 80's-early 90's, the single "I Needed To Fall" would've been HUGE!!....Overall, A VERY good REO album if you're already a fan...

FINE FORM. THIS CD HAS UPTEMPO, ROCKIN' ELEMENTS... No radio staples but hey, they are giving the fans what they want, a new CD, the best one since 1990!
