Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

Where is this band on HH? Had to type it in the search to find it as couldn't see it listed under "D". |

This band has been around for a while now but I hadn't really paid attention until this album. It is certainly part of that modern hard rock style. From the credits the bass player Alex Frey is tge songwriter. However the weirdness of the singer dominates the promo videos. He's a strange guy. Musically I'd call this AOR Metal? If that makes any sense. It's best not to spend too much time on the lyrics which are about some superhero chick's or something. Strangely the two bonus tracks are my favourites on the album, not to say there aren't other good tracks. Some electronic flair adds a certain unique quality to some tracks. I think this has the hallmarks or a "grower" album. Right now I score it a "B" but feel it will improve over successive listens. |

IMO better than their previous Phase 3 release. Absolutely fantastic in places just glorious Rock music and vocals. An instant great listen from the very first listen. 90/100. |

A bit misdirecting front cover (not the band themselves, but the heroines who will save and protect our world), a bit imbalanced sound, anyway still a good piece of melodic hard n'heavy in the vein of PRETTY MAIDS, JADED HEART, or MILLENIUM. Btw. Auslander is right about the lyrics... I suppose the Nobel committee won't be taking this one up, but despite this, it’ll get a spot in my collection. 80/100. |
