An absolutely horrible, half-assed disc from Bret Michaels, BIG SURPRISE! Even with soe legitimate stars, this is a disaster. Bret talks most of the lyrics, none of the songs live up to the originals, and the new songs are utter crap. "The App Song' and especially "You Know You Want It" are beyond embarrassing. The way this ass-clown continually rips off his moronic fans with subpar, rehashed product is shameful.

The new songs on here are pretty good, although nothing truly great. The covers of Poison songs are mostly pointless, although nothing is terrible. The other covers I can take or leave. The only thing that pisses me off with this release is the same as all his last few albums, he keeps sticking songs on it from previous albums. I dont even want to think about how many albums Party rock band has been on now. Either give us an album of all new songs or just release a cheaper EP. Full price for an album thats full of stuff you already own is a joke.

Really? "You Know You Want It," a good song? Are you serious? And why would he make the effort to do a full album of original songs when, quite obviously, he doesn't have to. His audience, mostly made up of vapid chicks who watch his garbage TV shows, demands nothing more from this lazy hack than that he "just be" Bret Michaels. Just show up and make pouty faces. And that's exactly what he gives them.

Do I question your musical choices? I like the original songs, I dont have to defend myself. I like Bret Michaels and Poison. I am not a vapid chick. I just dont like this lazy arse tactic he uses for pushing out new albums. What I dont get is if you dislike him so much, why even bother listening to this?

Hey man,, feel free to question my musical choices. I don't care. I even welcome it. It's part of the fun. I actually heard the record broken down in brutal fashion on an Internet radio show, and jthe two hosts were a lot less kind than I was here. So, you really like Dance Club Bret on "You Know You Want It?"

CC - If you where a "vapid chick" then you would be off the hook for your #100 ratings for the "Rock of Ages" soundtrack, Pretty Boy Floyd, and your 'Fozzy' reviews. Include 'My Darkest Days' credits of Ludacris & Mystikal giving additional rapper street cred to the ever expanding HH genres (do you feel it dawg?). 'Jammin’ With Friends' exists only because Michael's assumes that nobody has listened to his other solo albums(for good reason) as he continues to milk some reality show recognition into a paycheck. Michael's who IMO was a minimal talent (in his prime)is now the washed-up rocker goes country(with accent). The result as expected is a train wreck into the swamp-boogie hell. He also attempts the Kid Rock country-rap(hick-hop) route, rasping rhymes about making love on the beach. For years Michaels has been playing the same shell game with his solo material using a Miley Cyrus duet,“Nothing to Lose,” from 3 years ago. Time to put this one trick pony out to pasture.
