The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Lipz CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Lipz are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

If you're into glam/hair-metal that sounds similar to "Berzerk"-era Tigertailz, then this CD will be more pleasing than having a Swedish supermodel leave a lipstick ring around the barrel of your love-gun. The song quality doesn't go full roller coaster in terms of ups and downs, but there are definitely some dips here and there. That said, when the band fires on all cylinders, they are scary-good. So if you are pleased by pop-metal hooks, salivate over sing-along choruses, and get off on "Whoa-oh!" gang vocals, then man, this is gonna hit you right in the rock 'n' roll sweet spot and leave you begging for more.

I have never heard of this band before, but yesterday YouTube recommended their cover of Roxette's "Dangerous" which I loved. Just checked out the video to Ghost town as well, and once again I loved it. This was enough to order their debut album. Just sitting here listening to it, and while it features neither of those two songs, it is still a killer album. I don't think their image does them any justice though, as the sound and the image just don't seem to go hand in hand. Like many Swedish rock bands these days, their sound is pure 80s nostalgia but with that modern spin. If you look on YouTube comments people throw around comments like "they sound like Poison, Motley Crue etc", but this is not even remotely true. Yes they produce music that fits that genre, but they don't sound like most of the bands people compare them too. I cannot my finger on who they do sound like though.
