| Meat Loaf is an artist whose albums I rather take as one solid unit with thoughtful dramaturgy than a collection of individual songs. Therefore this best-of doesn't work for me in the same way as his standard studio albums. Despite this fact, this cd was (at the time of its release) a good introduction to the era between 1977 and 1984. The first Bat... is represented with 4 songs, the second Dead Ringer with 3, the third Midnight... with 2, and Bad Attitude with one song. However today, perhaps just an item for collectors of his unique pomp hard rock with a musical frame. 75/100.
