No one was more surprised than me when this lard-ass made a return to the top of the charts. And even though you put your coolness at great personal risk by declaring a secret love for Meatloaf, he's got some great songs that have strong AOR under-pinnings. You know what I'm talking about.. stop hiding your true feelings. You like this big, fat, sweaty man... fess up! |

If it is LAW to own Bat Out Of Hell, then this album is like having to pay property tax!........... YES......... I have this one as well. |

P-U!!! That idiotic single, I Would Do Anything To Resurrect My Career (But I Won't Use Tact) is one of the most irritating clumps of crappola ever foisted upon the public... He had one fluke album back when Moses was still soiling his diapers, then his fans moved on and no new ones took their place... Fast forward more than a decade and he finds the rent check is due, so he decides to put this slop together... If this album were a car, it would be a Turd Coupe... |

Meat Loaf is one of Kings of True Classic Rock . . He has made some Fantastic songs over the years and if people don't like him then they should just fuck off and die . . . . Leave the Meat alone!! |

This is pretensious and excessive. Love it, have pretty much worn out the CD. Steinman creates another rock opera. Rundgren's vocal arrangements are gorgeous. |

Mr Loaf was better when he was fat. Now he's just another arrogant has been who likes to listen to himself talk. At least back in the 70's, he could still smoke. |

Out of the Frying Pan (and Into the Fire) May be one of the most complete and greatest songs ever. |

An interesting release by the big "Meat"and,as usually, packed with very defined orchestration songs...# 1(hit single mid tempo killer ballad),2,3(originally recorded by Jim Steiman,Loaf's mentor),8 & 9 are the ones for me...enjobable stuff...85/100. :-) |
