If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Roko CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Roko are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

I wish some record label would re release this cd.The first one is brilliant and I would like to get my paws on this one.

I FINALLY GOT MY COPY THROUGH EBAY.GREAT ROCK BAND AND GREAT CD.FAVOURITE TRACKS ARE MILES AWAY,HOT NIGHTS IN AFRICA,HEAVEN,ALL YOUR LOVE AND YOU ARE AN ANGEL.THIS CD AND THEIR FIRST S/T CD ARE THEIR BEST AND ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

A lower rating and less comments than the debut? I am offended! 'Hot Nights in Africa' is an original, melodic hard rock gem, 'Heaven' is a mid-tempo gem and a simply brilliant track, 'Deadline' is KILLER melodic hard rock, 'All Your Love' is melodic bliss and my favourite - just listen to those verses! But overall, this is an A+ classy melodic hard rock album, much better than the debut, IMO. Much better hooks and choruses. Very highly recommended!

Amazing!!! More guitar oriented with more distinct/sharp sound in comparison to the debut. A very consistant album with 12 great songs worth listening. 9.5

'Watch Me' is possibly the worst song lyrically ever put to tape. The rest is pretty damn catchy.

From: lalorock Date: November 25, 2006 at 16:53
Excelente discazo, mientras más lo escuches más te gusta, este tío hace un hard rock con toques aor, ese temazo Hot nights in Africa grandioso y que tales coros,Miles away gran comienzo lleno de fuerza, Heaven excelente balada, pero la que se lleva las palmas es All your love baladasa lleno de feeling,Deadline hard rock del mejor, You are an angel otro grandioso tema, buenos solos de guitarra y melodías en cantidad, Roko , excelente banda 9/10.

From: True Believer Date: November 4, 2009 at 11:46
I think this CD is better and more interesting than their debut. Overall sound is more sharp here. "Open Invitation" is full of fantastic riffs and memorable solos. There are some pretty ballads, too. "Hot Nights In Africa" and "Deadline" contain killer riffs, "All Your Love" and "You Are An Angel" are great examples of catchy AOR. 9/10

Shamely this one is less consistent than their debut one but still pleasant ..."Miles Away" is a good opener,"Deadline" is an AOrish track,"Is It Love" a nice semi acoustic shot,"Judy" ,"Wine Or Water" ,"All Your Love" the best song, real AOR feel,"You Are An Angel" is another real AOR feel track & the nice closing ballad "Leave Me Alone"(Roko Kohlmeyer usually ends its creations with a ballad ) puts a smile of kinda satisfaction in your face...87/100

excellent release for ROKO with a fine commercial hard rock sound which is a mix of JADED HEART with HOTWIRE!all the songs are remarkable and the whole result is much better than you expect!"take my body"."wine or water " and "deadline" are sensational songs and overall a great hard rock release from the German scene
