RichieRocker, Paul Laine is the current vocalist for Danger Danger. Ted Poley tours from time to time in his band Melodica. |

Paul Laine rules what a voice. I could not stop playing this when I first got it. His songs and voice have such emotion. A lot of ballads on here but that does not matter as they are all incredible, just check out songs like Shake it down, one more night, two sides of Love, Only the lonely and you don't Love me anymore and you'll be speechless, just incredible. Great fucking CD,hard to believe its just a collection of left over demos! |
From: Geoff | Date: January 11, 2005 at 2:14 |
Decent demos, but a lot of filler. One understands, at times, why Paul himself wasn't happy with the release of this. 'Riding with the wind' and 'One more night' are nice ballads, and although 'Two sides of love' was done 100 times better by Zinatra, that it still a good song too. The title track is pretty cool rock, but unfortunately apart from those tracks, IMO, all you have is pretty average b-side stuff not worthy of Paul's awesome voice and talent. Okay for cheap, but pretty poor CD. |

A lot of Fillers/Poor CD!!?? "Riding on the Wind" "One More Night" Tremendo tema, Mr. Laine apoteósico! "Two Sides of Love" lo lamentable es la producción/sonido pero Laine.. |

Laine lo hace demasiado bien, Laine o Mennen? Paul Laine de largo y que esa voz es TREMENDA.. Los temazos siguen con "Only the Lonely" "Walkin´The Dog" o las tranquilas "If I Close My Eyes" y "Maybe You Don't Love Me Anymore". Finalizando con la acústica "Momma I´m Sorry" muy buena! Parece que no lo han oido muy bien este disco muchos. Recomiendo pues escucharlo muchas veces para que se den cuenta de la gran voz de Paul y de su gran disco como es éste. Saludos. 9/10 |

A very good AOR release by the D2 frontman. I picked this up after hearing him with D2. It is as I said a AOR album so don't expect the D2 sound. His voice is so distinctive. This will not appeal to those who are into the heavier sound but if you like melodic rock/AOR it is an excellent release. 78/100 |

This album, personaly thinking is better than his "Stick" one and with a more powerful and heavier sound!!!."Shake It Down","Can't Get Enuff","Two Sides Of Love" (is it a cover???)among others (including some beautiful ballads) are the kind of songs that you can play all night long without getting any boreness...buy it and enjoy!!!.95/100 |

very good release by PAUL LAINE back in 96 !all the songs are fine but only 1 or 2 are really catchy! "two sides of love","walkin the dog" ,"shake it down" and "only the lonely " are the highlights and i d say that i d love to hear a 3rd release someday! |
