If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Kansas CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Kansas are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

A bit of a cliffhanger what with only 2 CDs and nothing past 1980 ("Wheels" excluded). Of course, the Livgren era is the focal point here, and it is documented well in pictures & song. One GLARING omission, though: the magnificent "No One Together" (from Audio Visions) is nowhere to be found. I would have preferred a joint-label venture with MCA that included highlights from the AWESOME "Power" and "In the Spirit of Things" CDs. Hell, even a few tracks from the Elefante era would have been nice.

Koogles, you are right about the song 'No One Together', certainly a classic that somehow was overlooked. As far as your other comments go, I believe this was mainly an 'original band' collection, with the exception of 'Wheels'. Other than that, I'm very happy with this collection.

"Wheels" is a very fantastic song.

Seemingly like every 70's band that has withstood the test of time, Kansas has made all kinds of music over the years. Progressive, hard rock, instrumentals, ballads, etc. This set compiles things well for anyone interested in their best years.

Very nice 'Best Of..' set, up up to and including 'Audio Visions'and pretty much what you would expect from from a Kansas compilation, although the biggest draw here is the 40+ minutes of unreleased demos, live tracks and the excellent new (at the time) song 'Wheels', which is a beauty.

One of my favourites bands, this set is great, only songs from the original line up, "Wheels" is a great new song in similar vein. For die hard fans, and a good collection for new comers. ¡imposible! Gracias Kansas!
