This is a christian version of KISS. The guy sounds like Paul Stanley made over and the music really kicks butt. the lyrics are very moving also. a perfect 10 |

There is no such thing as bad Idle Cure music in my opinion. Buy all of their albums if you can. You won't be disappointed , you'll be hooked. Do it !!! |

Joe has it right. Idle Cure is a good christian AOR act. Some call 'em a christian version of Styx, but that's not true. There are comparisons, but not enough to compare 'em with Styx. Good act ! |

Hey, I agree with all of the comments. As an unbeliever, I was a KISS freak, and some similarities drew me to Idle Cure I'm sure. Of course the difference is the annointing of God on their music, and in my opinion, although Steve Shannon's voice has some similarities to Paul Stanley, he is a far better vocalist. Glenn Pearce has been a huge influence on me as a guitarist as well. I thank God for Idle Cure! Anyone know what ever happened to them? What R they up to now? |

If you've been considering checking out some Idle Cure but just couldn't figure out which album to buy, then this "best of" collection is the only way to go, spanning their entire career (with the exception of their final studio CD, which was released after this compilation) and providing a superb overview of their Kiss-meets-Styx sound & style. In the quest to pick your favorite oldschool Christian hard rock band, you may just find these guys breaking away from the rest of the pack. |

A good compilation, actually is well worth it if you don't have anything of them,a mix of ballads, mid tempos,AOR & Rock songs is what you'll find on this record...also recommendable is their "2nd Avenue" release of 1990...87/100 |

very fine compilation for IDLE CURE and a quick way to get lost into their music, from great hard rockers like "frontline","breakaway" ,to mid tempos like "so many faces" and to ballads like "how long","take it"!excellent band indeed |
