Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

This lp rocked in 80 & it rocks today! FM radio fed us a steady dose of "Marseilles" in the morning & "Can't Shake It" at night. "Am I Ever Gonna..." should be on every playlist that calls itself Classic Rock. The constant comparison to AC/DC is there but it's unfair. Angel City are melodious thru/thru & they cover a variety of rock styles. This band found themselves in league with the likes of Saxon & Y&T; fantastic music but always looking up at the bottoms of someone elses feet. Great music! |

This was as it says a greatest hits to try to get these guys to catch on in america. It appears it ever did,but I can tell ya,it sure did amongst the rockers of my school. We had a guy that had this in his car for 3 straight years would bet it is still there now. |

Classic album by Angel City..."Can't Shake It" is by far the best song,a song that was covered by Great White with some major success..."No Exit" & "Waiting For The World" are also a couple of great songs...tracks 1(rocks!),4(catchy)& 5 are some other tracks to pay attention to...enjoyable stuff...83/100 ![]() |
