The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Heartland CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Heartland are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Good Acoustic release of Heartland's back catologue, plus a couple of Virginia Wolf classics thrown in for good measure. Well played produced and good for a bit of a chill out. |

This is essential for any Heartland or The Distance fan and could hopefully bring new fans into the fold with some great new versions of classic songs and is highly recommended for those who look for something a little different occasionally. |

Not really their best idea because in acoustic form the songs sound even more similar to each other. My favourite Heartland song is 'Real world' so I'd like to have seen that here, but this has a nice sound and is a nice relaxing listen. |

UNA GOZADA DE DISCO. LA VOZ DE OUSEY RESUENA EN ESTE ACÚSTICO COMO EN POCOS LUGARES. SENSACIONALES LAS VERSIONES DE CLÁSICOS COMO "LIVING ON A KNIFE EDGE", "ONE NIGHT", "WIDE OPEN", "INDIAN GROUND", "VOODOO EYES"... UNA DELICIA PARA ESCUHAR MUY TRANQUILITO Y RELAJADO. |

I think it's their worst one for the moment |

Who are the idiots who rated low this jewel? except from the fact that this album contains some of the best HEARTLAND songs ever played in studio acoustic version, contains also an acoustic version from the all time classic AOR theme ''Livin on a knife edge'' from the VIRGINIA WOLF years...titled ''knife edge''. Only by this, the rating should have been much higher but some people just CLAIM that they are fans of melodic rock ...JUST CLAIM! It's a pity. Some of you, clear your ears. This is my only advice. 92/100 (for historical reasons and respect to the music I love!) |

George_the_jerk - So you love everything thats called melodic rock or aor because you are a fan of the genre? Omg thats narrow-minded. |

Ummm...sorry but this one along with "III" are their weakest releases to me so far...not a bad album but with a lack of at least one strong cut to define it well...Chris Ousey is a splendid singer with good or average songs that's without any shadow of a doubt but it seems that the almost "non-stop" releasing of albums sometimes have its downs, like this one and the aforementioned "III"...anyway as i said not a complete waste at all as we can find in here some nice acoustic versions of some shots of the band such as "Carrie Ann","Never Never Land","Indian Ground"(beautiful song,a highlight),"Try Me","One Night"(a remake of a Virginia Wolf song,Chris' previous band),"Carved In Stone" & "I Count The Days"...for fans of the band it might be either a good one or a waste of time mainly because these songs are far better in their original versions...80/100 |

Who is the jerk and who's not, be sure that is completely revealed here mr Dumby Kra-Kra-what(?). You came by 3-4 years after my initial comment above just to prove how far the human idiocy can go. |

Only Time Will Tell was written for this album I think. It's one of the very best Heartland songs. |
