If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Heartland CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Heartland are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Much better this one, although those drum machines are still bloody there, but not as off putting as before. Ousey is brilliant as per and some of the songs are top class.

I just want to know kind of music they play

From: John Date: September 4, 2003 at 12:22
I've always thought the strongest track on this album was 'Let It Roll'. Never understood why they didn't open the album with that instead of the mediocre (IMO) 'Into The Flame'. Solid release though.

This is some excellent AOR. Drum sound could've been a little more in front though. I love "Into The Flame", "Let It Roll", and "X Marks The Spot". Vocals remind me of the group Dare. Excellent stuff.

just let them roll and see. you will like it

I say with glee that I really like 'A leap in the dark' off this album. After the debut it was hard to find stand out tracks on consistent but samey sounding albums, but I really dig that song. Again, this is not bad but just very plain. Good and consistent.

Just got this! I finally own a Heartland album. Everybody should own one. Classic Escape-Music sounding album this much like Change of Heart. Ousey and Morris just know how to write great songs so it's all executed very well. "Leap" is superb as is "Let it roll" and "Eclipse". "Count the days" too is awesome. I would reccomend this, even as an introduction to Heartland. I will be purchasing more...also "Catch you fall" is a blinder. I've had that track on a sampler for years and it's still great

ESTE MIRACLES BY DESIGN: DESPUES DEL GRANDIOSO BRIDGE OF FOOLS ESTE MANTIENE LA CALIDAD NO AL 100% DE AQUEL PERO EN LA MISMA LINEA.INTO THE FLAME ABRE COMO SOLO OUSEY Y MORRIS LO PUEDEN HACER HARD-AOR,CATCH YOU IF YOU FALL MANTIENE ESA MELODIA,TOTAL ECLIPSE ES MAGICA,A LEAP IN THE DARK DE MIS FAVORITAS,X MARKS THE SPOT MOSTRANDO EL LADO TECNICO DE LA BANDA,EVEN ANGELS CRY ABRUMADORA,I COUNT THE DAYS OTRA DE LAS MEJORES DEL DISCO, LA GRANDIOSA ALWAYS THE LOVE WILL SURVIVE Y SHOW ME THE WAY.

From: coverdale14 Date: October 2, 2007 at 12:51
ESTOY DE ACUERDO QUE DESDE QUE SE FUE EL PRIMER GUITARRA GARY SHARPE HEARTLAND DEJO DE HACER ESE AOR UNICO PURO DE LO MEJOR QUE SE HA HECHO EN LA HISTORIA, PERO STEVE MORRIS LE DIO ESE TOQUE QUE LLAMAN HI-TECH AOR A LA BANDA, MUY TECNICA. EN FIN SI ERES DE LOS FIELES SEGUIDORES DE LA BANDA TIENES QUE TENER TODO. LARGA VIDA A LOS HEARTLAND Y LARGA VIDA AL HARD-AOR.

halfordhughes - king of the 3 word reviews. You might want to try focusing on one releases and slap a paragraph or two together for some incite on why you like or dislike it. This isn't the Casey Kasem shout out site.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: November 20, 2012 at 16:54
Better structured than their very good "Bridge Of Fools" and obviously in the same line of the band's debut and "Wide Open"...these 4 releases except "III" are quite worth..."I Count The Days" is the best shot IMO,a killer track indeed then some other goodies are "Total Eclipse"(nice),"A Leap In The Dark" & "Even Angels Cry"...recommended album...90/100
