Great album... If you're a fan of either Bonfire or Jaded Heart you will most likely really enjoy this for obvious reasons. |

in the history of melodic rock ,many times we have some super groups, fans are waiting a killer album and result :a big deception (contraband for example).here not, this super group is a real dream team.imagine the drummer of jaded heart ,the bassist of scorpions, the guitarists of frontline and casanova and the singer of bonfire.result a top class cd in the vein of bonfire.i ve the feeling to hear a best of of bonfire.this record have no weak points,it s hyper solid ,hyper consistant, all songs are excellent.the ice on the cake is that sometimes we have a little smart touch of keyboards.fans of bonfire will love this cd at the first spin.the japan bonus track is a beautiful acoustic version of track 3 someday.we are at half of 2016 ,these six months are an avalanche of exceptional new realise:danger zone, amboaje, shakra, wild rose, drive she said, sunstorm, wigelius, first signal and phantom!!!!!!!!!!only the defiants and treat are some deception.i cross my fingers for the rest of the year. |

123charpenay, the word "deception" means that someone is trying to intentionally trick you in believing something. I know English is not your native language but it's the wrong word to use and you've used it a lot. Nobody is trying to deceive you into believing something is good. You either like it or you don't. Phantom V is just OK but that is my opinion. I LOVED Frontline even with the limited English that was used in their songs and Robby Boebel is the sound behind Frontline. This disc has more guitar parts that utilize harmonies better than any Bonfire disc including the masterpiece "Fireworks". What truly turned me off a bit are the lyrics. They suffer the King Kobra syndrome; good tunes, bad lyrics that make you cringe. Outside of that, the disc is fine in my opinion but, to me, nowhere near the quality of The Defiants or Treat. There is no "Love and Bullets" or "Better the Devil You Know" to me on this disc. 88 / 100 |

hello axe slinger.thanx for the english lesson. i ve looking in my dictionary ,you re absoluty right cause i would like to say "disapointment" (deception in french).you understand my mistake?"deception in english is "tromperie" in french.i m not fan of frontline cause i don t bear (i hate) the voice of the singer.his voice is too much special and at the end very very boring.greetings from the country of the best wine and the best cheese of the world.keep on rocking!!!!!!!!! |

As you can see from the personnel list this is a German supergroup, with members from some of that country’s best melodic rock bands. With Claus’ distinctive vocals the comparisons to Bonfire are only natural. The stellar production and standout opener, All The Way, had me thinking this might be as good or better than anything Claus and his former bandmates have released since the 80's. However most of the remaining tracks seemed to all blend together. Mostly mid-paced rockers. All solid tunes, but not many that stuck in my head or had me reaching for the repeat button. At the same time, there isn’t much I would consider filler either. It is worth checking out for fans of Bonfire (or the other member’s respective bands). If you go in with modest expectations rather than hoping for the second coming of Bonfire's Fire Works or Point Blank, you should be pleased with your purchase. My score is 74/100. |
