Annual Donation Drive Postponed
With everything going on in the world right now, people have more important
concerns and priorities to deal with, so I am postponing the annual Heavy Harmonies
Donation Drive until later in 2020. Stay safe everyone! -Dan

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you
notice that a particular Mark Slaughter CD release or compilation is missing
from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page.
The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies
as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live
compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official
CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Mark Slaughter are also welcome to be added, as
long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

|The voice of SLAUGHTER, releases his first solo effort. What is difficult for any fan of SLAUGHTER, is that one has a predisposed notion that the solo efforts are going to be his band's music just a lite version. I had difficulty with this release because Mark has such a distinct and recognizable voice (like Tom Keifer/Cinderella, et al) that how is he going to diverse himself away from SLAUGHTER? Well, there is no question about it - this is diverse alright. There are some SLAUGHTER like tracks here, and other songs that are out in left field too. However, what bothers me about this collection of material (which Mark claims has been around for a decade or two), is the quality of production on each track is so inconsistent which makes it hard to listen through over and over...you can tell it was recorded at different times and places. HIGHLIGHT TRACKS: #1, 2, 5, 8, 11. MY RATING: 75/100.
