their debut album was an atomic bomb.this second realise is exactly at the same level than their first album.the adventure continue revolution saints is always journey with guitars.it s a top class melodic rock record.this cd is varied cause we have two superb ballads track 4 and 8,a mid tempo a little strange but very caychy track 2,a bunch of super hard fm songs tracks 1.5.9 and 11,three hard rock songs absoluty irresistibles tracks 3.6 and 7.track 12 the japan bonus track have for me no interest it s a piano version of "can t run away from love".and the ice on the cake we have four bonus tracks live from the frontiers festival in italy.the sound is perfect these songs came from their first record.we have so a dvd with these four songs ,two video clips and the making of the new album.that s grandiose and perfect.no doubt this jewel is one of the best of 2017.fans of journey or whitesnake you can buy this monster record closed eyes.trust me. |

I thought for sure that RS were done and a "one-off" band that Frontiers put together, especially after Castronovo's complicated situation awhile back, never thought the band would rise from the ashes. This album is obviously continues right off the last album left off. Same formula, high energy vocals and music, and now allowing Aldrich to shine a little more on the guitar makes this album more enriching to listen to just as the debut. Considering (according to interviews) the songs were already written during the debut's sessions, one can see that there is not any deviation in their style which is easily recognizable and appreciated here. Having beat the "sophomore blues/curse" is not any issue here with this album, fans can pretty much guarantee that a 3rd album will see the light of day sooner than later. HIGHLIGHT TRACKS: #1,2,3,4,7,8,9......MY RATING: 86/100. |

Fantastic second effort for R.S. It is exactly what I would expect from them which is a good thing. Of course, anything with Doug Aldrich on guitar will be good. The dude is in my top 5. 93 / 100 |
