As if Giuffria's AOR glories were a thing of shame, David Glen Eisley turns in a coarse, amateurish vocal performance on this Dirty White Boy CD. Songs like "Dead Cat Alley" go on forever and hammer-headed lyrical cliches abound. "One Good Reason" is exactly that: a ballad that is perhaps the only justification for having this in your collection.

Yes, this is great stuff. So is His release The Lost Tapes. It totally blew me away when I heard it.

Just a so-so cd. You've heard this stuff all before if you get my drift. The musicianship is excellent but comes across as a hastily put together "supergroup" project. Has a Kix like sound to it and if you like David's singing and Earl's playing regardless of the songwriting then by all means pick this up. Definitely worth $5.54 if you're a fan of these guys.

Best known for his guitar work with "David Bowie" and "John Lennon", Earl put together his own formidable lineup of players, "Ex-Guiffria" vocalist "David Glen Eisly", former "Autograph" drummer "Keni Richards" and new comer "F. Buen Cd este de Dirty White Boy, aunque de sonido no tan sucio como el chaval de la portada, hay buen hard rock-sleazy como "Lazy Crazy" y temas más orientados al Aor o al rock melódico como la balada "You give me love" o el medio tiempo "One Good Reason", en resumen buen disco de hard rock'n'roll aunque bastante orientado a sonidos más melódicos de los habituales en esta clase de discos.

Oh dear, the averageness of this one is painful at times. Not the worst CD ever, but just such a poor bunch of hard rock songs with no reason for surfacing themselves, IMO. Poor hard rock...

A poor man's Giuffria. This is real painful to listen to. Almost like David Glen Eisley was singing in his sleep after a night full of tequila. This is utter crap with not one redeeming quality. Avoid.

Cant agree with you guys on this,i'm with Drag-In-Bones , i like the album alot and i like listening to vocalists with a rough edge to their voice like D.G.E ,Paul Shortino,Paul Sabu and to add the raw sound that Earl Slick produces on the guitar , makes for in my view a pretty good album.It is 10 times better than the crap he did with Murderer's Row.But Gene Simmons agrees with you because it was him who would not let D.G.E sing for House Of Lords.

This thing is train wreck! DGE oversings, making his effort at tough metal seem laughable. Keni Richards displays drum skills on a par with Rikki Rockett (not a compliment). Nice fills Keni! Earl Slick's classy guitar work is misplaced in this attempt at hair glory. "You Give Me Love" isn't bad, but the rest gives no real reason to listen again. DGE really damages his "reputation" with this one. I'm glad Gene said no to him in House of Lords.

I have to disagree w/ Trick Taylor. I thought Eisley's vocals were effective on this album, though I was surprised when I first heard his voice on this kind of hard rock (so used to his Giuffria stuff). And even though I like Eisley's voice, it was Earl Slick's guitar that made this album for me. Bad Reputation & Lazy Crazy are great hard rock songs to kick the album into gear, and Dead Cat Alley & Badlands would have to be my picks as the stand-out tracks. I enjoyed this one a lot!!

Another great performance by David Glen Eisley.Don t like so much sleaze bluesy hard rock but this one contain great piece of solid hard rock like the opening bomb”bad reputation”,”Let’s spend Momma’s money”,”Hammer on the heart”and the marvellous”Hard times”,the best song here for me.

Rock'n'Roll.. Hammer On The Heart & Hard Times lo mejor del disco con un stylo fiestero, asi como "Let's Spend Momma's Money" bueno creo que es lo unico rescatable de este disco noventero el restos de temas no estan al nivel de mis gustos, muy flojo muy pesimo lo escucho y lo vuelvo a escuchar y pues nada de nada...

"Badlands", a gloomy, well-performed western tale that might make you think of the film "Young Guns", is the best song on here. "Let's Spend Momma's Money" is an ok party track, but "Badlands" is by far the coolest song and makes this cd worth owning. The rest of it is rather forgettable, IMO

I find this CD to be about as enjoyable as dumping dirt in my morning cappacino. This is weak, uninspired, vanilla-flavored hard rock that sounds totally half-assed, as if none of the players put their hearts into it. Even the usually-reliable production skills of Beau Hill can't save this waste of disc space. This souless "supergroup" deserves every bit of the bad reputation it's garnered over the years.

It reminded me this one of what Foreigner did with Johnny Edwards in the "Unusual Heat" album(1991)musically talking...some great songs in it backed up with the very skilled and educated voice of the former Giuffria frontman David Glen Eisley...fave tracks o' mine are "Bad Reputation","Lazy Crazy","Let's Spend Momma's Money"(great!),"You Give Me Love"(power ballad),"Dead Cat Alley"(great!) & "Hammer On The Heart"(great!)...good stuff...86/100

excellent hair metal release by DWB back in 90 ,under Beau Hill s guidance!the sound is rough n sleazy and the band seems to have the right groove!all the songs are pretty good and especially "lazy crazy","hard times","one good reason" and "bad reputation".essential for hard rockers

a dream team with a very average result.not bad it s a decent hard rock n roll record.but little caesar in this kind of music is far far better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
