These cds need to be released once and for all.Friction is out,and so is the self titled, but the best cd in my opinion is Outta Hand which isnt out. Also check out Carl Dixons solo "ONE" cd.

From: Alejandro Romer Date: October 24, 2001 at 8:55
Although in my opinion they were among the greatest canadian bands of the 80's, Coney Hatch never got the success they deserved. This band really kicks a.. I already own a cd copy of "Coney Hatch", "Friction" and "Best of Three", but I agree with GW, they have to reissue "Outa Hand"!!! Please!!!!

From: Steve T Date: September 2, 2002 at 10:26
Amazing band. Good, solid, straight ahead hard rock.....one of the best Canuck bands ever. FRICTION is their best album but all 3 are awesome stuff.

From: freddy de keyze Date: September 5, 2002 at 7:59
Best canadian hardrock band ever, period ! Power and wonderfull songs. Go and search their debut and Friction ! You can't afford to miss these two fantastic records !

From: purrfect kat Date: September 5, 2002 at 8:37
Best Canadian Rock Band? . . . . (bites her bottom lip and thinks about this) . . . ya just had to say that huh? . . . . . I am seeing perfect this and perfect that and now best Canadian Rock band . . . . dear Freddy are you trying to draw me out for another battle of the bands?

From: metal expert Date: October 24, 2002 at 23:09

From: freddy de keyze Date: November 19, 2002 at 5:02
There are (were)a lot of great canadian bands like indeed Moxy, Triumph, Honeymoon Suite, Prism etc. etc. but as a pure hardrock band I think they were the best !

From: AOR freaky Date: November 25, 2003 at 11:18
I agree with freddy on this band ! Canada has had a lot of fantastic bands (see above, but also Max Webster), but this was the best, certainly in the pure hardrockfield ! NOT TO BE MISSED !!!!

From: HaremScarem Fan Date: June 23, 2004 at 0:19
HmmmmmAre you forgetting a couple of bands named RUSH, for one....and HAREM SCAREM!?!?!? And to a lesser extent EMERALD RAIN...

From: Big Papa K Date: June 25, 2004 at 1:56
Probably all the Coney Hatch one would need. I like the early rawer songs such as "Devil's Deck" and also the more polished tracks selected from their third album, but the middle does not do too much for me. 7/10

From: Remastered Reason Date: February 21, 2006 at 0:09
Considering the bands 3 albums, all their best songs are here. For the casual Coney Hatch fan, this is all you will need. Still all of their albums are recommended listening with "Friction" being the perfected one.

From: ausman Date: June 29, 2006 at 6:49
great band great sound,Canada have come up with some of the best rock bands

From: Metalmusicman Date: January 6, 2007 at 18:45
Bought this one because I thought "Monkey Bars" was just off the hook. I found out that this band was way more than a one hit wonder for me. "Devil's Deck", "Hey Operator", "This Ain't Love", and "The Girl From Last Night's Dream" are killer AOR and should have been huge hits. Just one listen is all it will take and you'll be hooked too. Excellent best of and a great way to get to know an amazing band you may have been missing out on. Worth it for "Monkey Bars" alone!!!

From: Bobby De Date: January 30, 2007 at 6:26
Wow, I can't believe you all like and even love this...I couldn't find one song that stuck out. I mean the musicianship is there, but they just couldn't find that catchy song that sticks to you all day, moves you, or takes you away! I mean fantasy is pretty good though. Metalmusicman said he bought this albm because of "Monkey Bars" I heard that song and it's very choppy, no catchy chorus, nothing! To me anytime you have to slow the song down and make it choppy, it's a filler no doubt about it!

From: Bobby De Date: January 30, 2007 at 6:39
It's a shame though, the musicianship is there, The guitarist is great, the singer has a sweet/yet raunchy voice. They just couldn't find that one hit to take them over the edge. Creativity is a bitch! Well, I love great bands but unfortunately this is not one of them. I will keep listening to it and hopefully something will jump out or grow on me! Girl from last night's dream is pretty cool...It's all very rick springfield though with a little more balls!

From: swriter Date: July 17, 2007 at 12:22
First Time for everything has to be in the top 10 aor songs ever!!!!! good band, first album was harder and the next two were more song orieneted with stronger melodies, great best of comp!!!

From: happy2849 Date: January 21, 2011 at 15:35
I have had their 3 releases on vinyl ever since they came out! Picked this up a few years ago just to be able to play it in my car (I don't like tapes). As most say, a very underated band from Canada. If you haven't heard them before this is easily available and worth hearing!
