I think Johnnycumlately is the only asshole here. Any reason you feel the need to post your message 3 times? Your first one was bad enough. This CD is quite good, not quite Heavy Pettin', but good nonetheless.

I am very disappointed in this cd and would rather hear rain fall from the sky then listen to this again.

This CD is one to stay away from. No real plan on how to unfold this CD music wise. Amatuerish and not very original. Coaster material as WidoMakr likes to say.

I have search for this because i am a huge Heavy Pettin fan. This really isn't something mind blowing but IMO very decent hard rock record...for example Lay Your Guns Down and Say Your Prayer IMO kicks ass!! Give this a try... BTW Lineup: Steve 'Hamie' Hayman - Lead Vocals, Michael Hough - Guitars, Bass, John Harwell - Drums,David Lee - Backing Vocals

If you are a fan of Heavy Pettin', you will love this album. Very good. Not as rockin' as Pettin' stuff but very good, catchy hard rock.

I have an old issue of Metal Edge which has a story about the Chyld cd, and an address to order the cd from. But it also says Hamie released a solo cd at the same time called Stript. I have never seen it anywhere, on ebay, in anyone's collection, etc...Does it exist????

Shocked to see this getting dissed like an unwanted stepchild. This may not be great enough to qualify them for sainthood in the hard rock realm, but it's pretty good stuff with crunchy guitars and some raspy attitude in the lead vox. The choruses don't explode into anthemic dimensions, but they're all built on catchy hooks, with "Lay Your Guns Down" & "Sacred Ground" being the best. Any melodic hard rocker who doesn't like this CD should be branded a sinner & tossed into Hell. (Just kidding.)
