Yet another entry in the Journey-Album-that-Never-Was category that's been so prevalent in contemporary AOR. Not a bad album, but certainly not outstanding either. Smooth vocals, choruses, lots of keys and subtle guitars. Very well produced with good performances but a nondescript singer. Unfortunately, the songs are all very similar, and after the third or fourth you start thinking you've heard it all before -- which you have, because there's very little variance in the feel and structure; a slow shuffle or up-tempo number would have been a nice change-up. The stand-out tunes (such as they are) are the opening "You're My Wings" and "Someone Like You." There's a definite market for these types of albums: the '80s Journey fan base that's seen something of a resurgence over the past couple years, and the Europeans are definitely taking advantage of it with blueprint bands like this. I can't imagine getting more than one listen out of it, but someone less particular might. 75/100. |

This album is one of those that puts you in a good mood when you feel down...friendly AOR songs that are meant to be radio aired one way or another...2 great songs for example are "I Want You To See Me" & "Only Feel Love","Can't Find The Words" is a killer ballad,"Change Of Heart" & "Someone Like You" both with very catchy choruses...a good and enjoyable release to take in account...92/100 |

This one is nothing special really, the album is not bad or so, but nothing stands out, all the songs are more or less the same. The listener loses interest after the third or fourth song. A negligible cd really. |
