Here's another one that could have been a big seller if US FM radio would have pushed it. Great songs and guitar work on this one. You need it, it's a must.

From: Jennifer Date: May 15, 2001 at 18:32
American radio never has never ceased to amaze me--this record was overlooked for lesser talented acts. First rate material on this one, complete with great guitar work and production. I agree--you need it.

From: Craig Date: July 31, 2001 at 10:03
Awesome album only let down by the production.

From: Dragonfly Date: December 15, 2001 at 10:15
That's right above the US airwaves. Who controls the US fm airwaves anyhow. Look at the crap their putting on now. Can't listen to any of the under talented groups they put on now. Crap for brains I guess. Well i got off track... buy this release as any of Gary's earlier stuff. Realy great stuff here.

Great way to follow Corridors of Power. One of Gary's greatest albums.Epics like the title track and Murder in the Skies feature great riffing, soulful solos and insightful lyrics. While Empty Rooms is one of the best rock ballads of all time. Of all Gary Moore's hard rock albums, this is one of the best to get. However, I equally like his 90s blues period.

From: Scandinavia Date: June 27, 2003 at 16:48
Yes, "Murder in the Skies" got me into Moore...Really outstanding track! I love the whole album but I just can't seem to get the hang of "Victims..."...Don't get me wrong, I really like that track but doesn't it sound a bit too much like Van Halen in the beginning? (After the intro)....Food for thought...

From: Brian McIntosh Date: September 24, 2003 at 3:18
Don't worry Scandinavia, it doesn't sound like the Yardbirds either! I don't hear the similarity but you do & that makes it a valid point. Gary Moore let me forget about VanHalen. He's the best. Ireland is proud of Gary. America couldn't care less about Eddie. Long after Gary hangs up his guitar he will still be important to Ireland & his fans world wide. Does that sound like VanHalen? More food for thought.

Ahhhh, from when Rock was Rock, Metal was Metal, Hard Rock was Hard Rock. and Gary was good. Then things changed. Everybody got depressed and suddenly Rock, Metal and Hard Rock turned into Grunge. Gary got the Blues, and started making shitty albums. This and other of his releases from this period are fantastic. So was his guitar playing. I miss the 80/90´s.............and my hair.

From: sparkyass Date: January 25, 2004 at 13:18
great album with incredible guitar work. the shapes of things solo is one of the top five of all time.

From: Alejandro Date: February 6, 2004 at 16:34

Moore is great!!! alot of people in america dont know who he is, what a joke!! listen to the axe work on shapes of things.

From: PAUL Date: October 22, 2005 at 11:39
GARY MOORE is one of the best british hard rock acts, there's no doubt about this.I'm a big Gary Moore fan and "corridors of power","run for cover","wild frontier" and this one are all classix for me.Essential from the burner s/t song to the melodic "hold on to love".

From: Carlos A. Date: August 15, 2006 at 11:18
Aun no tengo el cd pero por lo que veo es un discazo, solo he escuchado la power ballad "Empty Rooms" una exquisitez...(con poderosos riffs clasicos de Gary M.) solo por este tema este disco es desde ya una obra obligada a conseguir.

VICTIMS OF THE FUTURE, EMPTY ROOMS and MURDERS IN THE SKIES are eternally CLASSICS. I love this CD !

From: Carlos A. Date: May 21, 2007 at 20:22
Full Hardrock del guitar hero irlandes, temazos con elevadas dosis de riffs y fuerza interpretativa(yo no podia esperar menos)poderosos:"Victims of the Future"inmejorable apertura(con estribillo que me parece haberlo escuchado en otra banda),"Teenage Idol" rock sin concesiones,"Shapes of Things to Come" puñalada hardrockera, "Empty Rooms" primigenia version mas lenta y con algo mas de blues y mi favorita: "Murder in the Skies"inconmesurable, con acordes a lo Eruption de Van Halen.Un clasico 9.3/10

From: YNGWIEVIKING Date: October 12, 2007 at 2:59
