| although all the Triumph cd's are excellent , I think this one and Surveillance are the strongest. Loads of hook and melody. Highly recommended!!

| Triumph were a brilliant band, one of the best in melodic hardrock, listen to 'PLay with the fire' and you'll know what I mean!!!

| I agree with AORMASTER, these are the best two albums Triumph put out. They showed how good Rik Emmett was on the guitar and his vocals were awesome. When he left the band they just didn't have it anymore and he sucked to on his own. A great threesome though. These two albums are a must.

| Excellent AOR band!! This CD rocks a 9.5 out of 10. Standout tracks are 'Tears In The Rain' and 'If Only'. 'In The Middle of The Night' is one of the best ballads ever!! Highly recommended.

| I've always liked all of Triumph's stuff, but in my own opinion, I'd have to say this one is their best. Actually, it is a toss up between this one and Thunder 7 for me. They're truly a classic in the AOR/Hard Rock field. This album is great, good melodic songs. Highly recomended!

| This was in my mind the best DISC released by these fine Canadian trio. Great hooks, great melodies and great production. One of the better guitar driven discs. 'Hooked On You' - great song.

| Just picked this one up today on cd. I've been on a Triumph kick and have been getting the cd's I've been missing. I have forgotten how good this album reallly is. Grear AOR!

| Very solid album from the guys in Triumph, just like all the previous ones...too bad it was to be one of their last. Every song on this album is great in it's own, unique way. While one could say this is a more commercial sounding album, Triumph still makes it work. My favorites from this album are 'Tears In The Rain', 'Somebody's Out There', and most people might wonder about this last one, but I love it...'Take A Stand.' | This is a good solid AOR release and great for fans of the style. I kept it for a long time but recently sold it. Some songs even I had to admit I was quite fond of. Not a personal fave of mine, but a good AOR release.

| Combine the driving rock of King Kobra with the melodies Mark Free used on his solo release and you have Triumph - Sport of Kings. The best AOR release in their catalog.

| loving Triumph, this one is my fav, the most aor Triumph ever got. First 5 tunes are fanrastic as well as JUST ONE NIGHT, a great one for the aor lovers!!!

| Though this album often gets trashed for being lackluster & lightweight compared to their previous output, it offers plenty for the AOR fan at heart. No, it's not the Triumph of years gone by but lots of keys, harmony vocals & a good production make for a good soft rock disc.

| I agree with AORMASTER,this and 'Surveillance' are the 'AOR'albums by the mighty & powerful Triumph.Every album by this band is a classic so to specify or recommend one is quite a difficult task.The ballad 'just one night'stands alone by itself(this version is as passionate as Eric Martin's version)and 'somebody's out there'is a goody either.

| This is my FAVORITE release by Triumph. 'Tears in The Rain', 'Somebody's Out There', and 'What Rules My Heart' are all stand AOR tracks. 'Just One Night' is a heavenly ballad, but I'm with RockinAmerica about 'Take A Stand'. This is just an awesome song and the icing on the cake for me. Everytime I hear it, I get pumped up. I have to keep it out of my cars cd player or I'll get a ticket for speeding.

| What rules my heart,what a song!! power and melody with great feeling ,Triumph one of the best canadian bands,and this album is the best from them,other highlights are Tears in the rain,Just one night(Eric Martin cover),Donīt love anybody but me,pure AOR at itīs finest,the two voices are great,Rik Emmet and Gil Moore,like RUSH think about only three musicians can make incredible songs...9.5/10.

| good release by canadian hard rockers TRIUMPH back in the middle 80 s.not their best for sure,but good melodic hard rock with nice tunes and the marvelous vocals of rik emmett.songs that make the difference like "tears in the rain","just one night","hooked on you" and "if only".very talented band indeed

| their best record with "surveillance".an other brillant and very interesting realise from triumph.ok the instrumental track 8 have absoluty no interest.track 5 is an average song and i can add that the production is not extraordinary.nevertheless this album is highly recommanded to all melodic rock fans of this planet.except "hooked on you" all the songs are really excellent.no bonus tracks on the japan import.like for surveillance ,no problem,buy buy buy.

| very fine and very smart a o r i confirm.i confirm so that the production is very flat and very weak.where is the bass guitar?mystery maybe the bassist was in vacation or the "producer" have forgot the bass guitar in the mixing.with a good production this record will be a killer ,monster album.

| back tracking over bands that I thought were er..just OK back in the day..but tastes change...Im 60 now.... I was heavy duty metal back then.... but now Im AOR lite Hi tech..... lovin this album...andSurveillance..... but have to agree with a comment here....bass is very low in the mix
