It has to be the best festival ever! Cool bands played in there, a lot of people were there. I wish I could have been there... This live cd (also comes in dvd) shows one of the best bands in action, live! Good memories from 1983! |

The performances presented are fantastic. What an awe-inspiring and authoritative trio Triumph is. They have two equally fantastic rock ‘n’ roll voices with Rik Emmet and Gil Moore. Considering there are only three people in the band, the odds are that every song you hear will be enjoyable is a certainty. |

I bought the dvd last weekend & have watched it 4 times! It's made me realize that Triumph were much better than many gave them credit for. More than 'pop & hooks' Triumph were complex WITH 'pop & hooks' as seen on 'Never Surrender' & 'Magic Power'. The US Festival was an awesome event & Triumph were a splendid element to prove that the hard rock/metal scene in 1983 was a very cool machine to be a cog within. Kinda short, but that was the structure of the US Festival. Extra features help out. |

Bonus DVD here - watch 'Fight the Good Fight'...what an amazing vocal/lead guitar performance. Dont come much better than this! My one compaint is on the CD I think they cut the song 'Allied Forces' a bit short - would have been better if it had kicked at the end. ho hum |
