OUTSTANDING 10/10 |

When I was a little child, ZENO was one of my heros. One of the best bands ever came from Germany. This 'new' album contains a lot of brilliant old stuff beside some very unbearable songs. Victoria sucks a lot!!! Time is a songs which is also released on the album 'listen to the light' unnecessary to release it again!!! But all in all an recommendable CD. Flexigs high vocals rule!!! |

Another patchy ZENO release, but as with all his albums there are 3 or 4 monster tracks that make this well worth owning. 'Tonight' & 'Dreaming the Night Away' are 2 such tunes, but the show-stopper is 'On My Way' - which is just HUGE, and reminiscent of the magnificent 'Is It Love' from Zenology 1. Drenched in keys & layers of harmonies, it really is worth buying just for this track. Awful sound, dreadful vocals (from Flexig, not Tommy Heart), but just a few outstanding tunes. 7.5/10. |

Nice, but not great AOR ! Especially Flexigs vocals are below par and a great vocalist is what every great AOR act needs. Rather disappointing and certainly no competition for Blanc Faces, Cry Holy, Secret Smile etc. this year. Hope that the new one will be better (certainly on the vocal front). |

Whats the problem with Flexig on Vocals? He is great, for sure not everyones cup of tea, but with another singer its not ZENO enymore. Tommy Heart is a good singer but he sounds like one of hundreds. Flexig is unique, his voice makes the difference. He makes the ZENO sound like Tony Harnel does for TNT, Michael Olivieri for LEATHERWOLF or Andi Deris for PINK CREAM did. I hate these sweet, good, but not remarkable voices Heart, or Bormann have. |

Maybe I'm biased, I don't know but to me this CD is EXCELLENT from top to bottom. I love the vocals, the keys and the production. I can't pick a favorite tune because I actually like them all and I don't get why other people don't. This band is fairly new to me, I came across them less than a year ago and I love everything I've heard so far, this one being almost as good as their flawless debut. Highlights for me go in this track order: 2, 5, 8, 6, 1, 10, 4, 9. What's that, 8 out of 11?? 9.7/10 |

shoemaker - 100pot on comments on singers man. You just named many of my top bands and for all the right reasons. I think Flexig freaking rocks. Theres just something about him no one else has. |

Very good album of Zeno. The best tracks are the opener "Call Of The Heart", "Hard Beat" and "Dreaming The Night Away" with Tommy Heart, "On My Way", "Keep Your Love" and "Time". All tracks have high level. I like the special atmosphere created by Zeno in all the songs withaincredible introctions. 9/10 |

Hilarious to read my review of 2005. What days of old living in Sunny CA haha. The old album doesn't quite have the same punch in dreary old England as a bitter 40+ year old. |
