Brilliant in one word. This is the disc that put .38 on the map for me. Moving more into Aor territory on this one ,compared to the 2 earlier releases, although the southern sound is still to the fore on alot of the material. Full of classics (Rockin' Into The Night', 'Stone Cold Believer')all round excellent stuff. Always loved the instrumental 'Robin Hood' aswell. |

I wouldn't call this brilliant, but yeah, it has something ! Raw southern rock with a few AOR influences ! Hmm . . . , a nice CD. |

This has always been one of my favorite discs of all time (& I'm 40)! I don't think they ever topped the quality & style of the cuts on this disc. You could tell they had arrived - juicy, JUICY guitar chops layed down by Carlisi & Barnes. Listen close & you will see what I mean. I never tried to copy these licks until now & Iappreciate the music even more! Recorded in Studio One (A.R.S.) & I believe same producer(?). Overall sound reminds me of A.R.S. except on high octane. CLASSY STUFF!!! |

A good place to start for new 38 Special fans. It has the bonafide rock staple "Rockin' Into The Night" & a few other good songs but nothing else of that caliber. |

Money Honey is definitely the best song off this album. Very funny lyrics and a nice southern feel to it. Other highlights are Rockin' Into The Night and Stone Cold Believer are good too. They were moving into AOR territory with the start of Barnes' vocals. |

In agreement with the fellows above...a good album(i own it on vinyl)...best shots for me are "Rockin' Into The Night"(written by J.Peterick & F.Sullivan of Survivor fame),"Stone Cold Believer","The Love That I've Lost","You Got The Deal" & "Turn It On"...84/100 |
