First of all...Fortune Teller is one hell of a classy, classic AOR jewell! This record has an interesting chemestry.Jeff Cannata, from the classic Arcangel!Soft vocals toghether with all time keyboards oriented, quite techno-pop,groovy guitar`s ,really soft AOR,at times I can almost say it becomes a bit progressive.Sum this up with optimistic, futuristic lyrics.Jeff play`s himself multi-instrumentist on this quite solo effort.Extremely rare record!

Jeff Cannata ... what can you say about this guy, Has he made a bad record??? This is great, Sailing Ships has a fantastic soaring chorus and Will the Sky Begin to Fall is another fave on this. I haven't played this for a bit so when I get home I think I'll dig it out (been too busy listening to Saga Generation 13 for last few weeks!!!). Don't know how hard it is to come by these days but if you like hi tech pomp/aor then grab a copy.

A VER, VEAMOS. EL PRIMERO DE ARCANGEL ES UN CLASICO ABSOLUTO DEL AOR, ESTE ES UN BUEN ALBUM, PERO PARTICULARMENTE SIENTO LOS TEMAS UN AIRE FRIO, LA VOZ DE CANNATA SE PRESTA PARA ESO, A DIFERENCIA DEL PRIMERO DE ARCANGEL QUE LOS TEMAS TIENEN OTRO GUSTO, MAS MOTIVADORES Y MAS RICOS, ACA TAMBIEN HAY BUENOS TEMAS COMO Fortune Teller LA JOYA DEL ALBUM, EL RESTO TAMBIEN ESTAN BIEN, PERO COMO LO DIJE, LOS SIENTO UN POCO FRIOS. BUENO ES MI OPINION PARTICULAR. SALUDOS MUCHACHOS.

Finnally adding this gem to my collection!!! Strongly keyboard oriented with just fine vocal lines, this work shows overall one thing: CLASS. I would't compare it with his previous work because to me are both timeless and essentials. I think this is an A.O.R. record just for those who are really into the genre: smooth, well written and being extremely picky: with a tiny lack of guitars. Guys by the way I do have to agree saying this one is FU##### hard to find on cd, and pretty expansive too!! I

An album that contains all the elements to make a stunning A.O.R.sound.Loads of keys, solid lead/rhythm guitar and strong bass/drums.Quality vocals paired with huge choruses...Nuff !!!!!

A little dated this may be (as are quite a few of the 80's releases) but the worst AOR cd ever is pushing the point slightly. This is Typical Cannata in the melodies/structure, so if you are a fan of his previous/latter day stuff (Arcangel etc) then this will definately hit home. 'Fortune Teller', 'Sailing Ships' & 'Hand In Hand' are excellent and the rest is pretty good aswell. Quite hard to get hold of thesedays, but definately recommended if you see it.

Sorry dear friend but I disagree.I like very much his”watching the world”release and it’s almost in the same vein,so I like Cannata style but this one is not good except a cople of songs IMO.We can talk about Gregg Rolie/hands of time-gringo,I find similarity between these 2 artists even if G.Rolie uses a different melody approach but production/sounds are in a typical 80’s era and they remind me a lot to Cannata obiously without any comparrison,G.Rolie worths 10,000 times”Images of forever”for

Mr Cannata's finest portrayal of his unique style of AOR. I bought this record for the opening track, Fortune Teller, alone but was pleasantly suprised by the rest of the album. I can't agree that its one of the top ten AOR albums of all time, but it sure is a good album packed with irresistable hooks, top notch production and layer upon layer of 80s style Synth. Not to be missed by any self respecting AOR fan! Reccomended. 8/10.

Nice album in the Mr Mister vein.Recently he recorded a new album far distant from the aor style but good.Heard the samplers and liked it.It's kinda progressive though.

AOR classic...comes in a close second to the original ARCANGEL debut!

Espartaco-Rosario-Argentina.

Disco sorprendente y original donde los haya, el estilo de Cannata se podria definir como Aor progresivo y la verdad que nunca he escuchado nada igual, mucha importancia de teclados y orientado claramente al lado sinfonico, Fortune teller, Hand in hand, Middle of the night las mas destacadas. Escuchalo por lo menos una vez .8/10 http://paraisohardrock.blogspot.com/

Another one that I have not listened to for a while, although I know it's some great AOR. It may not be in my top 10 releases of all time, but it sure is close.

As i stated in 2006...Mr Mister kinda stuff but also adding the likes of Mike And The Mechanics,Rick Springfield's "Tao" album sound and mid 80's Yes band ...my fave tracks are "Hand In Hand" & "Sailing Ships" but also there are goodies such as the opening track "Fortune Teller","Break Away" a smooth and beautiful song,"Long Distance" & "Together"...an excellent combination of AOR with some prog moments here and there and some poppy touches too...highly recommended!!!.96/100

Great Hi-Tech stuff from ex Arc Angel man. This is a poppier continuation of what he did with the afore-mentioned band, and what he would finish with on Watching The World, after which he would essentially go back to prog/pomp.
