Looked at the past auctions on Ebay and this has gone down in price considerably. Are fakes being distruted or has this been reissued? Been awhile since I checked on this one.

Is this a joke? $24.25 for this ultrarare jewel?!! I can't believe it. This is one of the most sought after japanese aor cd's of all time....i saw and see it on every wantlist, and it's a deserved status: one of the best examples of north american aor of mid 80's. Buy it if you can find it, no matter which is the price!!!!

An eBay user known as bpm_music was selling CD-Rs of this CD....he is no longer a registered user! His/her auctions are what drove the price down for this cd.

Rare as hens teeth on CD, but an absolutely indispensable album from the man who brought us Styx's superb Edge of the Century CD. Tracks like Perfect World, Hold Back The Night and Crank It Up are all AOR Classics. A must have.

Good but not classic album. But be warned for his upcoming album on Atenzia (soon to be released). You won't recognize his sound : he plays now alternative/nu-breed stuff ! A complete change of style and very, very bad ! This is good, but the Glen Burtnick from now is CRAP and has nothing in common with his previous work or with Styx ! BE WARNED !

I can't believe how much this is now worth! Is good, "Heroes..." is the better CD though. Agree with AOR Freaky as his new CD is absolutely terrible and a million miles away from this in terms of sound and style.

'Perfect world' is a sensational song, and I guess the rest of it is a good album, but $305 dollars! I'd sooner turn up to the bowling alley, discover they're out of bowling balls, cut open my ballsack and use my testicles to knock down those ten pins!!! F*ck me, it's a pretty good CD but there are thousands out there just as good or a lot better for much cheaper! Stick with those...

My god, this one is excellent!!! Burtnick is a great singer and here he proves he is a top notch songwriter! Just listen to "Crank it up" and "Brave hearts". It's amazing that Burtnick and Tommy Shaw both played in Styx but their best efforts is their solo albums...this one and "Ambition" by Shaw blows away "Kilroy was here" or any other Styx record. If you find it BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY!!!

Rocketron ... Remember they used to have great sales you could go with about £30 and come back with about 50 albums/CD's haha! Sadly missed shop indeed! Passing on this CD resulted in me passing on all his work I'm afraid, I dunno why I never bought any of his stuff as what I have heard I have quite enjoyed!

Just a friendley warning. An eBay user known as bpm_music was selling CD-Rs of this CD and now he's back with a new username aldrinand. He has allredy sold a couple of Bootlegs on the TIC CD. His/her auctions are the reason that the the price is dropping down for this CD again.

Absolut geiler AOR.

Really enjoyable album!..for me is like Mr Mister's "Go On" album but edgier...the party starts with a very cool track and a highlight "Crank It Up","Little Red House" is a fave and a highlight too along with "Perfect World" which i really liked then comes "Hole In My Pocket" & "Brave Heart" both very catchy tunes,"Heart On The Line" is a nice song and "We're Alright" closes the album fantastically!...you won't waste your money or time listening to this great release!...recommendable!.88/100.

I agree with Geoff (Jan 20, 2005). I have got both the vinyl and the Japanese CD. It is an excellent release of course, but isn't it more the fear of not getting an album than the quality of the music itself that makes people pay horribly high prices and therefore create a black market? - Nevertheless a highly recommended, atmospheric opus by Mr. Burtnick. So "Hey Stoopid" if you want to make me a millionaire.... :-).
