Good songs, good band. Slightly dated recording, but the talent shines through.

Cannot agree with the one above....i found this one pretty boring.

From: oliver Date: January 30, 2005 at 14:26
indeed a very average example of christian aor. no remarkable songs, no great melodies. hear it, forget it. not worth the buy.

From: Erik Date: January 31, 2005 at 5:17
Mediocre.

From: Dave Date: January 31, 2005 at 5:55
Not even mediocre , this is plain crap. Avoid at all cost !!!!!!!!

Just while we have an avalanche falling here in reference to this CD, I must agree. I didn't mind 'I would die for you' but thought the rest was very poor AOR. An album I sold happily and never want to hear again. Very boring, IMO.

Yeah your right Dave. It is no good. No punch at all on this disc.

#9 Boulevard is only catchy hard rock song. And #4 I Would Die For You,#8 Run Through the Flames are pretty well. There should have been such a song more.

There are certain songs that i like a bit and others that are fillers for sure. Brighton reminds me of Power/Obscure Pop bands, if you are into that style, youŽll enjoy it more. "And You Know"(Nice solo), "I Would Die For You", "Run Through the Flames" "Boulevard" and "Wash Me in the Rain Again" are good ones, Good Solos!. Btw the Beatles cover "Anytime at All" is very similar to the original, "Cursing the Night" àla Bob Dylan, nice acoustic ballad. I wouldnŽt call it Crap, could be average, plain or something like that.. 7.9/10

This is a decent album but nothing outstanding honestly..."Promise Of Love" is a catchy song,"On Any Sunday" is a highlight,"Wash Me In The Rain Again" is a nice pop song,"I Would Die For You" is my fave track along with "And You Know","Antime At All" is another pop track,"Love To Me" is a cool one and "Boulevard" is the AOR track of the album..just for curious people..80/100

Back in my teens when I was buying anything that was Christian Hard Rock without even hearing a tune, I picked this up based on the cover (the band look hard rock and kinda glam-punk) and the label (Elefante brothers rarely disappointed). Well... I was surprised by the contents. Very lite. Mostly acoustic. I guess the closest similarity would be The Alarm? When I got over my disappointment I did find a few songs I liked, namely Wash Me in the Rain Again which has a Beatle-esque melody and tge title track which is upbeat with harmonies. But this album is not essential and the haircuts lied! 55/100.
