Bloody underrated band ! Seen as a teen bop act by many, but this is a real rock band, topped with the brilliant voice of John Waite, one of the best vocalists on the planet. All their albums are great and a song like 'Piece of the action', sadly missed here, is magnificent. Great stuff !!!

yOU CANT BUY A BABYS RECOPILATION, ITS A CRIME, THIS DONT GIVE THE IDEA OF WHAT BABYS ARE, YOU MUST LISTEN ALL THE LPS

Often seen as a kid/pop act, but this is not the whole story ! Check out the CD's by these guys and they made impressive AOR/hardrock ! Some of their songs are bloody great and with John Waite they had a golden voice !

The copy I have has 17 tracks.Essential addition to any AOR collection.

From: Nick C Date: December 30, 2004 at 14:48
Yeah my copy has the extra tracks too....this is the orig Chrysalis release which was the same as the vinyl version, but then it came out a few years later with the extra songs added. The above version is okay and features the unreleased track (b-side?) Money (a cover of the Beatles song). To get the real feel of the Babys as VICROCK and AOR Freaky and Freddy point out..grab the other albums. If you see the 17 track version get it simply because it's better value haha!

John Waite has one of the best voices on the planet and The Babys were an excellent band that blended traditional hard rock with old school soul.
