The last studio album from this criminally underated band. After the magnificent 'Union Jacks' album, this was Highly anticipated by myself, and it didn't let down, although it isn't as good as U J,and is way too short at just over 30 minutes. That being said , their Are some excellent tracks on here 'Turn & Walk Away','Darker Side Of Town', 'Too Far Gone' 'Rock 'n Roll Is Alive' amongst them. After the band split,Jon Cain, went to Journey, John Waite to an excellent Solo career and Bad English

Rock and Roll is Alive and Well has that epic sprawling feel that a number of Babys songs have (Run to Mexico/ Union Jacks) and seems longer than it's 4+ minutes. It's a sooperdooper track! The potential hits on this album are unbelieveable. Darker Side of Town is a brill song very dark and brooding. Great album from one of the best bands ever.
