If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Asia CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Asia are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! This guys voice is sucks where's Wetton

From: ThunderDan Date: June 17, 2002 at 19:10
I have to strongly disagree! Although alot of these songs were originally demos (some of them sung by Wetton), I'm not gonna sit here and have someone tell me that John Payne's voice sucks!! He's got a high quality voice. Get over it, Wetton is history! Payne all the way!!

From: Reno Date: June 17, 2002 at 20:19
Alas the vocalist preference battles on. There will always be one of these disagreements going on when a band gets a new vocalist. Roth or Hagar, Laine or Poley, yada yada yada. Payne is a great vocalist, as was Wetton. They're different voices of the same band. Diehard fans will always like the originals over their replacements, it's not saying that the new guy sucks. I liked both versions of Asia as I did with other bands with new vocalists. Ratt would be an exception to that rule. lol

What part of "Wetton's gone" don't you understand, Julie? Wanting Wetton back is like asking for Sean Connery to return as Bond. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. MOVE ON. With that said, this Archiva is typical of out-takes, B-sides and lost material collections. A few gems, some time-wasters, but mainly just for the curious and the completists. "Heart of Gold" is good. "Reality" not so good. "Tears" appears on Geoff's second solo CD in better form thanks to Max Bacon's Supertramp-ish vocals.

From: Gar Date: July 22, 2002 at 19:14
Actually, I've heard that Wetton has reunited with Downes. Anyhow, this is a pretty solid effort. Not all of the songs are great, but none of them suck either. "Boys From Diamond City" is a pretty rockin' tune!

This stands out for me purely because of the 2 aces in the pack, namely the fabulous 'Heart Of Gold' and 'Boys From Diamond City', 2 tracks that are deserving of any Asia studio album proper. The rest is a mish mash of stuff found in the Vaults, back rooms & toilets over the years. Some good, some not so. Good for Asia afficionados.

Dissapointing. A few listenable tracks and several boring and weak material. Only for die-hard fans... 6 / 10

Pleasant album of demo songs but in HD i'd say....there's some kind of "saying in saying out" about Wetton and Payne, obviously Wetton is the trademark of the band as a vocalist but is also undeniable that Payne has done such a great job while covering Wetton's departure..."Heart Of Gold","A.L.O.","I Can't Wait A Lifetime" & "Dusty Road" are my faves...enjoyable...86/100
