Well this is modern Hard Rock with some Sleaze/Glam metal added..strong choruses that could be the mark of the band...good vocals with those scream tones..ya know...pretty common nowadays...songs acceptable..."Showdown In Central Park"  ,"Take Me For A Ride" catchy,"Do You Believe In Rock 'N' Roll" great track,"Wildlife" a highlight,"Fire In The Pouring Rain" nice & great,"Look Out!" brilliant,"Touch" catchy,"Straight To The Grave" is a good modern rock song...the japanese edition brings a couple of tracks "Don't Stop" & "War On Love" being "Don't Stop" the one that caught my attention mainly because it has some AOR feel just in the chorus...give it a try!.91/100

| This one is truly enjoyabe, from the anthemic rockers "Showdown In Central Park" and "Straight to the grave", to the Ratt oriented "Take Me For A Ride", and the Motley Crue oriented "Wildlife (the best track for me). "Look Out" is the heavyweight of the album, while there's also time for a ballad "Fire in the pouring rain". It's like Kiss, Ratt, Motley, Bon Jovi all mixed up, with some modern edge. A couple of spins and you'll be hooked.

| For the most part I agree Rick and Sam above. The first time I listened to this I was lukewarm, but I bought the Japanese Edition which has 2 bonus tracks...like Rick above, those tracks caught my ear and that is what encouraged me to give this another solid listen. Second time through I found a lot to like. A few fillers no doubt but to be honest my 2 favorite tracks are the Japanese Edition bonus tracks "Don't Stop" and "War On Love". "Wildlife" is my favorite from the others. 80/100

| I've been listening to this non-stop for the past two weeks. Great Hard Rock with Sleaze Glam elements strewn about. Nothing more to say that hasn't already been said. I would suggest tracking down the Japanese version. "Don't Stop" is a great track, although "War On Love" isn't as essential as stated above--my opinion. "Showdown in Central Park" is a phenomenal opener with big gang vocals in the chorus. "Fire in the Pouring Rain" is a typical cliche yet amazing power ballad. "Call Paul Stanley", "Heatwave", "Look Out!", "Touch", "Straight to the Grave"... dammit, they're all great! Listen, I gave this a 95, and, while I know these numbers are completely arbitrary, I don't think there's a filler here and I just want to get across how much confidence I have in this album, and any future release from this band. Now, I'm gonna go listen to it. Again.

A pity this band seems relatively obscure. To me they sound like an updated hair metal band with modern production values. I love the gang choruses and the strong melodies. Put "Call Paul Stanley" on your car stereo and see if you don't start driving faster while drumming on your steering wheel!

| hum i m not Under the charm of this record,even if the singer is great and there is some strong choruses.this album don t hooked me,too many fillers in the second part of the cd.sometimes this band reminds me wilside "Under the influence".of course wilside is far far better than bad city.they don t play in the same league.bad city is a second zone, decent hard rock band.not more.

| Just picked this up, not bad. I would agree with "123charpenay," that these guys sound like Wildside. Wildside's first album is WAY better than this one though.

| This is one of my favorite post-80's albums. These guys nailed the vocals, guitars, and melodies. So disappointing that it all came crashing down. Per previous few comments I'm going to give Wildside another listen, but they never hooked me like Bad City did.
