April Wine came back strong with this release, with some solid rockers like "That's Love" and "Here's Lookin at You Kid". The ballads are good too. Unfortunately, the band went downhill after this release and now resemble that toothless old farm dog who's just waiting to die. |

"Toothless old farm dog?" Are you referring to TIM? |

One of their best albums. 14 songs and no real filler, quite a feat. Blows away the last couple of albums they did in the 80s. |

Excellent return to fine form. Great DISC. Heavy guitars and power ballads - Goodwins voice is brilliant. |

Best Wine music since "Nature of Beast". Segal's guitar adds new spark to this great band. Goodwyn sings w/ conviction again. Many of the rockers are just plain FUN. Better Slow Down is the best "drive w/the top down" song I've heard in a while. Several songs are played in the "drop-D" tuning, which gives them a MEAN sound! Great disc! BTW: Mercer is 1 of the best drummers IN THE WORLD, no doubt! See 'em live!! |

I dunno. It was great to see that album cover in the store, and to hear the opening riff. AW is back! I thought. It is okay, it gives you a fix. Still, I would rather that they put forth more effort into ten GREAT azz-kickin songs than stretch it out and have so many ballads (although Myles' ballads are fantastic). Anyway, a fine record and good to hear them again in the midst of a terrible grunge movement at that time. |

Good-Decent Hard Rock album, entre decente y buen disco, el album tiene varios buenos cortes de Hard Rock, no es la gran cosa pero esta Ok. |

While I still have some of their early 70's releases on vinyl this is the only cd of theirs that I own. The oitle "Attitude" tells it all. Great hard rock with just enough ballades to satisfy most. |
From: happy2849 | Date: December 9, 2010 at 12:50 |
Although I've heard several of their earlier releases, for some reason I always come back to this one. "Attitude" is a great album title because they sure showed it on this release. One of my favorites! |
