This one is not VINTAGE WINE but it is TASTY WINE just the same. Some VERY GOOD songs on this one and it should have been a big hit. |

One of their weaker albums. Recomended for serious fans only. They have much better albums than this one. First two songs got minor airplay on radio. |

April Wine were on a roll with their previous few albums, but this one just doesn't measure up. First song is good and was a minor hit, but the rest of the songs are striking in their overall blandness. It was like they couldn't come up with any more good songs. Disappointing. |

This is one of their middle of the road albums with some highlights such as "Sons of the Pioneers" (best song) and "This Could Be the Right One". "Gimme That Thing.." is pretty catchy tune and is probably the second/third best track. |

Those who like this album should try to find the 45 for This Could Be The Right One. It has an unreleased B-side from the album sessions, a rocker called "I Really Don't Want Your Love". I was lucky to find it at a flea market. If any of the AW guys is ever one here, boys get this song out on CD somehow! |

Decent enough when you are in a lighter mood. I can see fans of Krokus's terrible 'Change of Address' record liking this one. A guilty pleasure in a way...good to hear April Wine but eventually you realize you miss the guitar being forefront. This one doesn't get as many spins as the previous two from AW. |

This is a great album that any HARD AOR fan will love to have in their collection. One of my fave songs are the first and HARD ROCK KID. Come on, buy this album because you are going to love it if you like 80S TRIUMPH, KILLER DWARFS, SURVIVOR, STEEL BREEZE or even PETRA. |

The only thing vintage about this release is that it was released over 20 years ago & thankfully nearly forgotten about by most April Wine fans. Unfortunately, those of us that remember drinking this generic bottle of Wine are still sick. |

Boring poppish AOR with terrible sound. The only CD from this area that I sold later... |

Good AOR/Hard Rock album, buen album no se queda atras con el siguiente a diferencia que ese encontramos temas desde AOR como This Could Be the Right One que es la joyita del album y cortes de Hard Rock envueltos en melodia, otro disco hecho para alguien que disfruta de esa epoca inolvidable 8/10. |

another good one by APRIL WINE who always have a standard quality in their sound, musicianship &songwriting!no surprises in this one ,straight hard rock music of the mid 80 s that gets quite aorish and satisfies you !"sons of pioneers","this could be the right one" and "without your love" are the highlights! |

Very pleasant album with that AOR sound typical of the early 80's...many Hard Rock bands did that change of sound in their music direction for a while and then after they returned to their roots...tracks 1( ),3,5 & 8 are my faves.84/100 |
