Another great album by Allies! Great songwriting, superb vocals, catchy melodies. From the high-energy rocker Feather to the haunting Cryin', superb effort by excellent musicians! This is some of the 1st music my daughter ever heard & she loved as did I! 10/10

Quality everything from start to finish. Not a classic by any means, but very enjoyable. The softer songs sound the best to me, with Grand Facade being the one that sticks in my mind the most. Worth adding to your collection of AOR albums if you enjoy that sort of thing!

Yeah agree with the comments above!..a very good album,pleasant,nice,catchy....Petra,Idle Cure,Mastedon and so on...CCM artists that somehow led the way to other acts...Allies is one of those "big leaguers" of CCM too i'd say..."In My Life" quite poppy but pretty good, ala The Rembrandts kind of thing,"Man With A Mission" ,"Feather In Your Cap" is a highlight,"Grand Facade" is a tremendous ballad,"Devoted To You" for me is far the best of the album, ala John Parr type of songs easily,"The Deepest Part Of Me" is another excellent track, pure AOR,"Heaven" is another killer ballad & "Last Chance Cafe" is a nice and smooth song..a good one to end an album...buy! 87/100

Blues Rock influences are back here as in both previous albums. I don't think these guys music was AOR anymore since last release, it was more like Pop Rock with some other influences. I can even hear the riff of Satisfaction in Feather In Your Cap. Grand Facade is a nice enough ballad, not a classic, but good enough. Devoted To You is one of those african sounding tunes from Toto, and it's also pretty good. The Deepest Part Of Me is a New Wave sounding tune. While the mix of styles is still strange, it sounds better than the previous album; the B-Side being superior to the first half, and closer to AOR, with Just Like A Father To Me being a cute song. It gets weaker at the end, but a lot better than previous albums, probably their best since Virtues. Rating: 7/10. Favorite Track: Devoted To You.
