Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

By reading reviews it's a 50/50 thing on this being crap or good, so i downloaded this album to check it out,& I must say it is pretty good. The albums production isn't perfect but the tracks are good, this album certainly sounds as if it was made around '88, reminds me of band like Leatherwolf etc. & as another person points out in these reviews the artists involved are talented, check it out. (curent rating on this on my review was 9.30/10 (66 ratings) before someone decides to mess with it!) |

A nice power metallic gem.The singer reminds me Geoff Tate and that's why the band is Queensryche-ish in sound but more powerful and more closer to Leatherwolf and Shok Paris. The singer sings like Don Dokken sometimes,so this can bring you an image if Dokken changes their direction to the power metal side,it's what this CD may sound like.I really wonder why this high-quality CD was released thru such an unknown label in Luxemburg. |

Hey P.C. this ALIAS debut "st" is from 1987. So they took not the name from Curcis ALIAS. This is good us-metal, similar to FATES WARNING. |
From: sharatan | Date: February 14, 2009 at 15:38 |
a lot of bullshit has been said here. actually perhaps the pussy aor alias took the name from this alias. metal to infinity is a real melodic metal. not some wimpy stuff. actually this is a 1989 release on vinyl. and it's their 2nd one. the first is from 1987 and it's not so great as this one, although it has a couple of great trax. i don't care for the cd which obviously came some years later. my friend japangea if you like the vocalist check the first demo tape he did with krommodon. please, again, don't confuse them with the pussy aor band alias who steal their name. the floridian alias has some real guitar sound. |
