It's not AOR but it's an Excellent Melodic Obscure PowerPop/AOR album indeed. If you love Modern English, Wire Train, The Cure, early U2 or stuff like that this is for you, so it's for me. My favorite tracks? The whole album is perfect for my ears 9/10 |

Decent effort... if you are into the likes of The River Detectives,River City Poeple,The Bible,The Smiths and some others alike then you might like this band...best tracks for me were "The Boat Leaves Sunday" & "The Color Of Mary's Eyes" then a couple of lovely ones "Holiday" & "90-92"...the rest of the songs are kinda highlights except 6 and 9 IMHO...83/100 |

Some New Wave/Alternative influenced Pop Rock in this album. Doesn't sounds dated at all compared to other contemporary releases, it even sounds 90s in some points. Not fully my style but some pretty OK melodies in here. The first half is a bit "harder" and the second is softer and lighter. Holiday is a pretty "morning feeling" kind of tune. Rating: 7/10. Favorite Track: Holiday. |
