Excellent prog rock in its purest form. "From the opening riff of "Cliffhanger 2" to the beauty of "Colors", this disc rules. One of the best releases of 2001. "First Light" is in a class by itself. Highly recommended. |

I have all 4 albums of them. I like this one most. It is pretty heavier than 3 previous albums. This means if u like "Legacy", the other three may disappoint u. |

Dream Theater always gets a run for their money when Shadow Gallery steps up to the plate and releases a CD. This is almost on par with their finest hour, "Carved in Stone". "Colors" is a beautiful song and I would not hesitate at all to call it a masterpiece. Great CD- can't wait to hear the next one. |

This is the DISC got me into the band - 'Colours' - the best tune by far - amazing - just amazing. What a band - I can't wait to see what they do too follow this puppy up with. |

sorry guys but this i think that is a step back for SHADOW GALLERY after their great previous release.there are no hooks,no new ideas and the songwriting is average.surely this aint bad and it has its moments like "legacy" or "society of the mind" but for me this release didn t work |
