One of the best voices in all of AOR, Kevin Chalfant's work with 707, Steel Breeze, The Vu, The Storm and Two Fires affords him the same legendary status as a Steve Perry or a Jimi Jamison. This solo album neither subtracts nor adds to the Chalfant legacy. Some of the songs are a bit too Bryan Adams for these ears, but the heart-stopping "Love Changes Everything" and "Anywhere The Wind Blows" rank among the best things he's ever done. Recommended for all fans of Journey, Hugo and timeless AOR. |

'Learning To Fly' is a big rocker, maybe the heaviest track of the album, and finishes the record off in grand style. A great sing along happy chorus, that basically defines this album. Great styled pop rock, with all the big choruses and ballads you could wish for, all delivered with a great production and the voice of an angel!!Highly recommended for AOR/pop rock/and hard rock fans that like some softer style now and then. Top job! |

Good album with some good melodic rock/AOR tracks but IMO nothing really outta this world, just songs that we can deal with...best shots from the former Steel Breeze,The Storm,707 and Journey man in here are the coolest ones "Running With The Wind" & "Save Me Tonight" also "Anywhere The Wind Blows","Hurricane"(nice),"If This Is Love"(nice soft) & the hidden track...86/100 |
