This live album was released after just two albums. The sound is not that great, but I always had a soft spot for live albums so I like it. I'd give this album 7/10. |

Magnum live are a totally unique experience, and to be truthful few of Magnum's studio albums actually manage to provide a genuine insight into the real nature of the beast. Indeed, even this and other live albums released over the years...decades...millenia fail to fully capture the Magnum Magic. Having said that, this album certainly showcases the talent at the heart of the band - Tony Clarkin's immense songwriting and guitar playing abilities coupled with 'The Voice' himself. 8/10. |

Well, this was a horrible album. For fans of early era Magnum I'm guessing, which was certainly not me. Almost metal-ish, but IMO just poor. |

Personally I like this disc alot, as it is a very accurate summation of the band at the time. I happened to be at the gig when it was recorded (London's Marquee Club) and I still remember the night very well.Admittedly this is a little rough around the edges soundwise, but it was recorded in a small, sweaty club and for me has bags of atmosphere that a lot of live albums lose along the way,(look on it as an official bootleg if you will). I remember well the band was really kicking that night though, and the general performances on here are really good and tight. A live 4 track EP. was also released at the time with 4 more songs and the recent remastered version adds these to the tracklisting (along with a few tracks from the 'Invasion' live album aswell). OK 'Marauder' is not the best live album you will ever hear, far from it, but what it is, is a true, honest account of the band on that night which is what live albums should be for me. |

Great sound for a live recording, but should contain more songs from the debut (I own the original cd edition with no bonus tracks). |

pretty good live release for MAGNUM only after 2 albums ,but somehow captures the energy that new acts always have!most of the songs are from their 2nd one and their performance is solid & accurate and from the start you feel the strong character of that band!recommended for MAGNUM fans |
