Hate this CD. Honestly don't even really consider it a rock album but to each their own. Songs are so boring I'd prefer picturing blood running from my veins to actually listening to it. |

Pish...my bro upstairs (Geoffers ) ain't keen on this, to tell the truth I can see why some wouldn't really be into it, laid back slightly southern tinged hard rock may not be to everyone's taste. I had quite a few of their albums on vinyl that I bought as a job lot dirt cheap and they were a bit beaten up and eventually I got rid of soley because of their condition and not the music, in fact I'm gonna start getting their stuff again on CD I think coz I'm missing it now (blame the recent HH forums topic for making me homesick for the band). I'm no expert on them but I think FMC is probably their most famous album, a solid album. I dunno what it is about their music I can't put my finger on it, it rocks yet has this mellow far away, warm evenings with a hint of smoke in the air, chilling with a few friends and beers feel about it! As I say a good album, maybe not their best I really liked Mystery Road, which I'm gonna go and buy right now, D 'n' C are coming home to my collection! |

Fly me courageous and the innocent are great tracks. |

...yeah, but they are the only two good tracks. The rest? Ahhh...not so much. IMO. |

pretty good for DRIVIN N CRYIN back in the early 90 s and i remember that Fly Me Courageous made some impact as a single ,but nothing more, mostly because of their laid back mellow rock style which is ok at times but couldnt go further!big production by Geoff Workman ,fine musicianship ,some good songs and a fine 90 s vibe is offered here for a band that s not everybody s cup of coffee! |

This CD came out in 1990, not 1991. |
