Another good one that's underrated. Paul Chapman was a hot guitarist for sure.'Chains' and 'Makin' Moves' are classics.

From: Mitch Date: April 23, 2001 at 12:47
Hot record with great songs. One of their best.

From: Aaron Date: April 23, 2001 at 13:54
A UFO classic. 'It's Killing Me' is such a great song.

From: Larry Date: April 23, 2001 at 19:02
A good one. I love it and you should too!

From: Jennifer Date: April 24, 2001 at 14:56
Excellent!

From: Wayne Date: April 26, 2001 at 11:57
Another great one here! Several good songs on this that could have been successful radio songs. UFO had some great melodic tunes at this stage of their career. 'Chains, Chains,' 'It's Killing Me,' 'Long Gone,' and 'Profession Of' are the best songs here.

From: Conner Date: April 29, 2001 at 22:11
More great material on this set from UFO. The best tune is 'Chains.' It bloody cooks!

From: Melinda Date: May 5, 2001 at 11:29
Better than their last album, this one could easily have been a big hit, but alas, UFO was never destined to have hit singles like Journey, Loverboy, or any of their other comtemporaries. Every song on this one is catchy, melodic, and simply great. One of their best efforts ever.

From: Frank Turner Date: May 11, 2001 at 12:35
Still more good music here! 'It's Killing Me' is by far the best cut on this one, but don't overlook the hard rockers 'Chains' and 'Makin' Moves.' Chapman did even better work on this one than 'No Place To Run.'

From: RockDude Date: May 20, 2001 at 14:23
Maybe the best UFO album to feature Chapman, although 'Making Contact' is just as good as this one. Better than 'No Place To Run,' and has some GREAT material. Neil Carter was a nice additon to replace Paul Raymond.

From: Kobyashi Date: June 2, 2001 at 11:44
Very fine artistry herein! Outstanding melodic songs which in all rights should have been highly successful radio songs. One of the best UFO albums; Paul Chapman was marvelous on this one.

From: Kim Date: July 23, 2001 at 21:30
This is a damn underrated release. Its on my personal top 25 of all times.

From: gary will Date: August 23, 2001 at 11:58
the best album with chapman.a nice raw guitar sound and his solos are superb.best track is lonely heart.

From: toņo chile Date: October 30, 2001 at 18:28
'profession of',the best metal ballad performed in the history of rock and roll music, what feeling

From: Kim Date: February 25, 2002 at 16:05
This one is as essential in a cd collection as Van Halens 1,Kiss-Destroyer,Meat Loaf-Bat out of Hell, Motley Crue-Dr Feelg, Boston 1-2, Giant-Last of the Runaways, Black S-Live Evil, Judas Priest-Unleashed, and Is highly recomendable. ITS A CLASSIC.

From: Doug Date: June 15, 2002 at 17:06
Very good material on this one, great guitar work. Here's yet another UFO album that should have sold millions.

From: Ger Date: July 16, 2002 at 5:47
This album is hardly ever mentioned when speaking of UFO, but deserves to be. This is an underated classic!! just listen to the orchestrated fade out part between Long Gone & the title track, that piece of music send shivers down my spine. everytime.

From: jerry Date: July 19, 2002 at 1:31

From: Kim Date: July 19, 2002 at 10:52
Jerry Its out of print. You might be lucky at www.gemm.com Good luck. Its a fantastic cd.

From: Steve T Date: July 19, 2002 at 11:29
jerry, I think you may still be able to find it as a double cd with Mechanix tacked onto the cd too. If not then e-mail me (swaynet65@hotmail.com) and I'll happily do ya a copy until you find it.

From: Steve T Date: July 19, 2002 at 11:32
his album is HUGE. Graet songs and great playing. Paul was playing like a man possessed on this album. The solo in Profession Of Violence is out of this world. Easily one of the band's best albums and terribly underrated and overlooked.

From: Tony Date: August 12, 2002 at 15:05
This album was actually my intro to UFO. First concert I ever saw and immediately went out and got this. Still love this album and the cd has such a great groove throughout it. Great air guitar album. Chapman is amazing here and this album made me check out the earlier stuff so I'm forwever grateful!!!

From: Beevuss Date: September 16, 2002 at 20:35
Really nice to see other positive comments about this album. It's one of UFO's best overall.

From: Freddy Date: November 2, 2002 at 21:47
This also kicketh mine ass.

From: Donnerjakk Date: December 12, 2002 at 3:13
My personal favorite UFO cd. 'Profession Of...' gives me chills what an excellent solo. This was actually my first UFO purchase of any kind. After this there was no looking back...Had to have them all

From: GedBarchetta Date: April 18, 2003 at 23:22
I would have to agree with all the comments of this classic album,my favorite album in UFO'S catalogue.Paul Chapman was a very underrated guitarist and he smokes on this album......this also is among my 5 top albums of all time without question.....if anyone who even comes close to admiring rock should purchase this album.....there is not one bad track...It's Killing Me in my opinion one of the finest songs that they have written....

From: Great Dane Date: April 19, 2003 at 17:26
Chapman is way better than Scenker. Schenker is a sick M&%&#F''' I met him here two-three years ago. He's really anidiot. Musically UFO were best with Chapman and Carter.

From: Dave Date: October 8, 2003 at 1:14
Without doubt , one of the all time classic albums!

From: Mr M Date: May 3, 2004 at 11:59
Aaaah. My favourite from the Tonka era. Chains, Long Gone, Lonely Heart... top drawer. Where is Tonka these days?

From: Big Papa K Date: June 30, 2004 at 12:18
My favorite UFO studio album. Side one is all excellent, but 'Makin Moves' off of side two is the best song here. One of the most consistent hard rock albums from this era. 9/10

Along with 'The Mechanix' album, this is my favourite UFO studio album. Played this to death when i first got it in the early 80's.Finally got a nice brand spanking new Jap edition. Still sounds great, especially 'Long Gone','It's Killing Me' and the mega ballad 'Profession Of Violence'. Essential

From: Uusiolli Date: August 5, 2004 at 23:26
Chains and the namesong are my favourites here. Otherwise gets a bit boring at places. Nice record though 7,5/10

From: Nick C Date: November 19, 2004 at 14:34
This is a fantastic album, easily the best with Chappo involved. The harder songs rock reet hard and the ballads are reet moving. Profession of Violence is a superb track and the rocker Long Gone is brilliant for the old legs apart air guitar rotine! Neil Carter adds a great new dimension with his sax playing especially on Lonely Heart. One of my fave U.F.O. albums.

From: Propane Date: December 1, 2004 at 19:15
One of history's most underrated albums. All tunes are superb, production is great. Only one flaw I find in this one - saxophone. Note to UFO: Sax does not do it right in rock music.

From: jfox66 Date: March 10, 2005 at 21:23
Absolutely the best hard rock album ever made. Listen to the story it tells. This would make a great movie! My favorite album of all time. Not a weak song in the bunch! The Wild, The Willing And The Innocent is as classic a hard rock track as you can find. Lonely Heart moves me like nothing else. Phil Mogg's high watermark as a songwriter. I write some songs myself... only wish I could do it this well! Phil Mogg is my hero... I would give my left testicle just to sit down and talk with him.

From: Remastered Reason Date: January 17, 2006 at 13:10
Sure, Schenker is the man but this cd is great too. Glad to see the band could move on & make memorable music too. 'Profession of Violence' is an absolute killer ballad. Overall, one of the best non-Schenker UFO cd's. Required Listening.

From: jay essess Date: March 25, 2009 at 13:48
UFO Classic the best No Place To Run - Makig Contact Tonka Rules who needs schenker this is the best UFO CD

From: hair metal again Date: March 31, 2010 at 1:38
good release by UFO once again.the basic elements are obvious here with good songwriting, unique vocals and remarkable guitar work.the result is a nice classic hard rock collection of songs like "makin moves","lonely heart" and the amazing solo in "profession of violence".important band

From: rick kerch vzla Date: July 26, 2017 at 19:12
